The Dexter Pratt House is an historic house in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is remembered as the home of Dexter Pratt, the blacksmith who inspired the poem "The Village Blacksmith" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

The Monroe C. Gutman Library is the primary library for and one of four main buildings comprising the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). It is named for its principal benefactor, investment banker and Harvard College 1905 alumnus Monroe C. Gutman (1888 - 1974) who gifted the library $1.13 million.In addition to its academic and library functions, Gutman serves as a primary gathering place for HGSE students and a public exhibition space for artwork. Unlike other libraries on Harvard's campus, Gutman is not open 24 hours a day. The building's features include special collections, classrooms, study spaces, a conference center, computer services, bookstacks and eating commons.

The Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University—also known as the Harvard Radcliffe Institute—is a part of Harvard University that fosters interdisciplinary research across the humanities, sciences, social sciences, arts, and professions. It is the successor institution to the former Radcliffe College, originally a women's college connected with Harvard. The Institute comprises three programs: The Radcliffe Institute Fellowship Program is a highly selective fellowship that supports the work of 50 artists and scholars each year. The Academic Ventures program is for collaborative research projects and hosts lectures and conferences. The Arthur and Elizabeth Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America documents the lives of American women of the past and present for the future.The Radcliffe Institute often hosts public events, many of which can be watched online. It is a member of the Some Institutes for Advanced Study consortium. Prof. Tomiko Brown-Nagin is the institute's current dean.

The Arthur and Elizabeth Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America is a research library at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, Harvard University. According to Nancy F. Cott, the Carl and Lily Pforzheimer Foundation Director, it is "the largest and most significant repository of documents covering women's lives and activities in the United States".

The Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) is one of the graduate schools of Harvard University and one of the top schools of education in the United States. It was founded in 1920, when it was the first school to establish the EdD degree. Led by Dean Bridget Terry Long, the mission of HGSE is to prepare leaders in education and to generate knowledge to improve student opportunity, achievement, and success. It seeks to accomplish this mission by operating at the nexus of practice, policy, and research. It is associated with the Harvard Education Publishing Group whose imprint is the Harvard Education Press and publishes the Harvard Educational Review. The Monroe C. Gutman Library is the school's primary library and one of its four main buildings.

The S. B. Withey House is an historic house at 10 Appian Way in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is a 3+1⁄2-story wood-frame Greek Revival house, three bays wide, with a front-facing gable roof and clapboard siding. Its entrance is recessed in the leftmost bay in an opening flanked by pilasters and topped by a Tudor arch. The house was built c. 1855–56 by S. B. Withey, and is one of a few residential houses in the Harvard Square area that still stands at its original site.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Harvard Extension School (HES) is the extension school of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Under the Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences' Division of Continuing Education, it offers more than 900 on-campus, online, and hybrid liberal arts and professional courses primarily catered to adult learners. The school also offers graduate and undergraduate degrees, academic certificates, and a pre-medical program. While courses are generally open enrollment, degree candidate admission requires "B or better" grades in degree-credit coursework at Harvard, followed by an application, and a formal admissions decision.

Fay House is a Federal style mansion in Cambridge, Massachusetts that currently serves as the main administrative building of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University.

Harvest is a Harvard Square restaurant originally owned in 1975 by Benjamin Thompson (architect) (he designed it as well) and his wife Jane. They closed in 1997 because of “growing competition and poor management” but reopened under new management (past managers R. Patrick Bowe and Jayne Bowe) and renovations by Elkus Manfredi. The current owner is Chris Hummel.Harvest offers “upscale, contemporary, seasonal New England cuisine.”The restaurant was known for its Marimekko prints in the front room and the neon Harvest sign and attracted customers such as Julia Child (it was rumored to be “her favorite place to dine”). They hosted Child's 90th birthday party in 2002.Alumni of their kitchen include Lydia Shire, Barbara Lynch (restaurateur), Bob Kinkead, Sara Moulton, Jasper White (chef), Chris Schlesinger and Frank McClelland.

The William Brattle House is an historic house in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is one of the seven Colonial mansions described by historian Samuel Atkins Eliot as making up Tory Row. It remains in use by the Cambridge Center for Adult Education.

The Cambridge Center for Adult Education (CCAE), a non-profit corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has been teaching adult education courses at 42 Brattle Street since taking over the building from the Cambridge Social Union in 1938.The CCAE is housed in two historic buildings, the William Brattle House (1727) at 42 Brattle Street and the Dexter Pratt House (1808) at 54 Brattle Street.
