Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR) is a nationally ranked pediatric acute care children's hospital located within VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. The hospital has 144 pediatric beds. It is affiliated with The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, and is a member of VCU Health. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21 throughout eastern Virginia. CHOR also has a helipad to transport critically ill pediatric patients. Children's Hospital of Richmond features the only pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center in the region and the state.The hospital is rated as the second best children's hospital in Virginia on the 2020-21 U.S. News & World Report.

The William H. Grant House, also known as Sheltering Arms Hospital, is a historic house located in Richmond, Virginia. It was built in 1857, and is a large, three-story brick townhouse in the Italianate style. It features a small, richly ornamented arched front porch supported by coupled square columns. In 1892, the house was acquired by the Sheltering Arms Hospital, who occupied it until 1965. It is connected to the Benjamin Watkins Leigh House.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.Currently, the building is owned by Virginia Commonwealth University and houses office space for the Department of Dermatology and Risk Management unit.

The Wickham House, also known as the Wickham-Valentine House, is a historic house museum on East Clay Street in Richmond, Virginia. Completed in 1812, it is considered one of the finest examples of architecture from the Federal period. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1971.It is now owned and operated by The Valentine, a private history museum devoted to the city's history.

Decatur O. Davis House is a historic home located in Richmond, Virginia. It was designed by architect Albert Lawrence West and built in 1879. It is a three-story, three bay, Second Empire style brick dwelling with a mansard roof. It has an offset, two-story south wing. It features granite and iron ornamentation and a rare rinceau cast-iron fence.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Benjamin Watkins Leigh House, also known as the Wickham-Leigh House, is a historic home located in Richmond, Virginia. It was built between 1812 and 1816, and is a three-story, four bay by three bay, Federal style rectangular stuccoed brick dwelling. It features an Italianate bracketed cornice and a small Italianate front porch. It was the home of Senator Benjamin W. Leigh (1781-1849) and sold to Lieutenant Governor John Munford Gregory (1804-1884) upon Leigh's death in 1849. The house was sold to the Sheltering Arms Hospital in 1932, after which a large three-story wing was added to the east side connecting it to the William H. Grant House. The house was later sold to the Medical College of Virginia and used for offices.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.

VCU School of Pharmacy was founded in 1898 as part of the Medical College of Virginia. It consistently has been ranked among the top 20 pharmacy schools in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. From 2014 until June 2022 the school was headed by Dean Joseph T. DiPiro. It currently is led by Dean K.C. Ogbonna. The school enrolls approximately 400 students in its Doctor of Pharmacy program. Research and Ph.D. programs in the School of Pharmacy include Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science. Centers for research and practice in the school include: Center for Biomarker Research and Precision Medicine Center for Compounding Practice and Research Center for Pharmacy Practice Innovation Institute for Structural Biology, Drug Discovery and Development

First Baptist Church is a historic Baptist church in Richmond, Virginia, United States. Established in 1780, the church is currently located on the corner of Monument Avenue and Arthur Ashe Boulevard. The current senior minister is the Rev. Dr. Jim Somerville, former pastor of the First Baptist Church of Washington, D.C. Its historic building at 12th and East Broad streets is the home of Virginia Commonwealth University's Hunton Student Center.

The Lobby Day 2020 was a gun rights rally that took place on January 20, 2020 at the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond, Virginia. The rally was an extension of the Second Amendment sanctuary movement and was organized by the Virginia Citizens Defense League. Fears of violence by neo-Nazis prompted the governor of Virginia to declare a state of emergency ahead of the event, although the event concluded peacefully with no reports of violence.

The VCU Medical Center is Virginia Commonwealth University's medical campus located in downtown Richmond, Virginia, in the Court End neighborhood. VCU Medical Center used to be known as the Medical College of Virginia (MCV), which merged with the Richmond Professional Institute in 1968 to create Virginia Commonwealth University. In the 1990s, the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals Authority was created to oversee MCV Hospitals. In 2004, the name of this authority was changed to the VCU Health System, and the MCV Hospitals and surrounding campus were named the VCU Medical Center. The authority oversees the employees and real estate occupied by the five schools within the VCU Medical Center. It was at this time that the MCV Campus moniker was created. West Hospital houses various clinical, administrative, and support services of the hospitals of the VCU Medical Center; clinical, academic, and administrative units of the School of Medicine; and academic and administrative units of the School of Allied Health Professions. In addition to the adult hospital, Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU is located on the campus. Today the VCU Medical Center is composed of the hospitals and five schools—College of Health Professions, School of Dentistry, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy—and is located on the MCV Campus, adjacent to the Virginia BioTechnology Research Park.

Richmond City Hall Observation Deck is the observation deck on the 18th floor of the Richmond, Virginia City Hall. It's free to the public. Access is through the elevators on the main floor, however access is currently prohibited to the public.

The Patrick Henry Building is a historic building located in Richmond, Virginia. Formerly designated simply as the Old State Library or the Virginia State Library and Archives and Virginia Supreme Court, it was renovated, then rededicated and renamed for the Founding Father and former Virginia Governor Patrick Henry on June 13, 2005.
