Grosvenor Park is a public park in the city of Chester, Cheshire, England (grid reference SJ412663). It consists of 20 acres (8.1 ha) of land overlooking the River Dee. It is regarded as one of the finest and most complete examples of Victorian parks in the North West of England, if not nationally. On 22 August 2013 the designation of the park was raised from Grade II in the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens to Grade II*.

The Chester Raft Race is an annual charity event taking place every July on the River Dee in Chester, organised by Chester Round Table The rafts race against the clock over a quarter mile (400 m) course, starting by the rowing club, and passing under pedestrian suspension bridge. Until 2013 it continued down the weir and finished on the south bank above the road bridge. Although the race is over at this point, the remnants of the rafts and crew then had to retrace their route back up the weir and return to the site assembly/parking area (The Meadows). No races were held in 2020 or 2021 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

It should not be confused with the Benedictine Abbey of St Werburgh (since 1541 Chester Cathedral) established in 1093 by Hugh d'Avranches, 1st Earl of Chester ("Hugh Lupus").

Zion Chapel, Chester is in Grosvenor Park Road, Chester, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.The chapel was built in 1879–80 to a design by John Douglas. It was originally a Baptist chapel. It is built in red brick with stone dressings and the roof is of red-brown clay tiles. It consists of an undercroft, a church and ancillary rooms. The west end faces the road and has corner turrets.In 1980 a congregation called the Zion Tabernacle moved into the former chapel. In 2000 it styled itself Protestant Evangelical.
