Wallgrove Army Base was an Australian Army camp and base at Wallgrove, (renamed Eastern Creek), New South Wales, Australia. The camp was utilised as a staging and training area during World War II. After World War II, the camp was utilised as an army wireless chain and as a migrant hostel. Wallgrove Army Base was on the site of the now defunct amusement park called Wonderland Sydney. The site has recently been redeveloped to build an industrial park. Eastern Creek Raceway, the M4 Motorway and the M7 Motorway have also been built on or near the site.

Space Probe was a Giant Drop ride located at Wonderland Sydney in Australia. It was manufactured by Intamin and opened as the world's tallest and fastest free-fall ride. The ride opened in November 1995 and closed on 26 April 2004.

Wonderland Sydney (originally known as Australia's Wonderland), was an amusement park in Eastern Creek, Sydney, Australia. Officially opened in December 1985 by the Premier of New South Wales, Neville Wran, the park was the largest in the southern hemisphere. It remained open for over 18 years and was the premier theme park in New South Wales for much of its life until its closure in 2004.

The Bush Beast was a wooden roller coaster located at Wonderland Sydney in Australia. The ride opened with the park on 7 December 1985 and closed with the park on 26 April 2004. The ride features a mirrored layout to that of other wooden roller coasters located at California's Great America, Canada's Wonderland, and Kings Dominion. The Bush Beast was manufactured by Taft Broadcasting.

Sydney Dragway, also known as WSID for its former name, Western Sydney International Dragway, is a $30 million, purpose built quarter mile drag racing facility that opened in February, 2004. WSID is based on international specifications and combines the best in competitor, spectator and corporate facilities. It is located next to Sydney Motorsport Park and is sanctioned by the International Hot Rod Association following a court settlement on 2 February 2022. In 2021, the circuit became home to the new Sydney Speedway, built next to the shutdown area.

The Division of McMahon is an Australian electoral division in the state of New South Wales. McMahon is located in Sydney's Outer Western Suburbs. Sydney Motorsport Park (known until May 2012 as Eastern Creek International Raceway) is a motorsport circuit located on Brabham Drive, Eastern Creek (40-kilometres west of the Sydney CBD), New South Wales, Australia, adjacent to the Western Sydney International Dragway. It was built and is owned by the New South Wales Government and is operated by the Australian Racing Drivers Club. The circuit is one of only two permanent tracks in Australia with an FIA Grade 2 license and is licensed for both cars and motorcycles.

The Western Sydney Parklands is an urban park system and a nature reserve located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The NSW government has spent around $400 million for the park. The park is governed by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and is listed under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974. The Parklands begin in the north in the City of Blacktown, cross the City of Fairfield, and end in the City of Liverpool.The parklands, being approximately 5,280-hectare (13,000-acre) in size and 27 kilometres (17 mi) in length, are one of the largest in the world, and they would feature picnic areas, sports grounds and walking tracks. The parklands attract 430,000 to 790,000 visitors annually. In addition, the parkland provided lands for the 2000 Olympic Games.

Eastern Creek is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Eastern Creek is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) west of the Sydney central business district, in the Blacktown local government area and is part of the Greater Western Sydney region. Eastern Creek is west of the Prospect Reservoir and is most notable for containing Sydney Motorsport Park (previously known as Eastern Creek Raceway), the Western Sydney International Dragway, and the former site of Wonderland Sydney amusement park.

The Horsley complex is a heritage-listed former vineyard, orchard, horse breeding farm and stock breeding farm and now residence and pastoral property at 52–58 Jamieson Close, Horsley Park, City of Fairfield, New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1805 to 1832. It is also known as Horsley complex (homestead, outbuildings, garden, farm), Horsley Park, King's Gift and Horsley House. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Sydney Zoo is a zoo in Bungarribee in the Western Sydney Parklands, in Greater Western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Sydney Zoo is located 38 kilometres (24 mi) west of the Sydney central business district. It occupies a 16.5-hectare (41-acre) site. Sydney Zoo is a member of the Zoos and Aquariums Association of Australia and New Zealand.
