Dromore, County Clare

Dromore Castle is a tower house and National Monument located between the towns of Crusheen and Corofin in County Clare, Ireland.Today, it is administered by the National Parks and Wildlife Service as part of the Dromore Wood Nature Reserve.

Access to Barefield has changed in 2007 with the opening of the Ennis Bypass and changed again in 2010 upon the completion of the Gort Bypass.

Ballyalla Lake, also known as Ballyallia Lough, is a small lake on the River Fergus, north of the town of Ennis in County Clare, Ireland. It covers an area of 308 hectares (760 acres), it is an important site for waterbirds, and has been recognised as a wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention. It is protected by the Irish National Parks and Wildlife Service as a wildfowl sanctuary, meaning that shooting game birds is not allowed at the lake.

Inchicronan Priory (Irish: Prióireacht Inse Chrónáin is an early monastic site, possibly founded 6th century by patron, St Cronan of Tuamgraney Crusheen. The abbey was refounded about 1198AD by Donald O'Brien, (King of Limerick), as a daughter house of Clare Abbey. It became a parish church in 1302AD and was dissolved c.1543 by Henry VIII, but it was restored and in use by 'friars' in the reign of Elizabeth I and became a parish church again in 1615 when Donogh, Earl of Thomond; granted it to Henry, Earl of Thomond.

Crusheen railway station is a closed railway station in the village of Crusheen, County Clare in Ireland. The station, which was originally built in the 1860s, was closed in 1976 for passenger traffic and in the 1990s for freight traffic.In 2011, planning permission was granted to Iarnród Éireann for the construction of a new station on the proposed Western Railway Corridor. However, the proposed project was "not provided for" in Iarnród Éireann's 2013 budget, and by late 2019, the company's CEO said that there was no funding and "no provision for a station" at Crusheen.
