St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (Milwaukee)

St. Sava Orthodox School is a Serbian-American private school located in the Milwaukee Wisconsin, United States. The school offers a preschool and schooling for children in Kindergarten to the 8th grade. The school works in tandem with the Serbian Orthodox Church, and seeks to promote bilingual education and cultural growth to the city's Serbian community. Instruction is in Serbian and English. The school was established in 1997, making it the oldest daily Serbian school in the United States. Students at St. Sava Orthodox School are encouraged to take advantage of the extracurricular activities available. Some of them include: academic competitions, athletics, and folklore. There is another Serbian-American day school, the St. Sava Academy, in Chicago.

SOARING is a public art work by American artist Lyle London, located in Reiman Plaza at Alverno College on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The abstract stainless steel sculpture rises 20 feet from a fountain. London's commission was coordinated by Uhlein-Wilson Architects.

Alexander Hamilton High School (also known as Milwaukee Hamilton) is a public high school located at 6215 West Warnimont Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Milwaukee's far southwest side. Named after the first Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton, the building was opened in February 1966, with about 450 second-semester sophomores from Pulaski High School. During the 2012–2013 school year enrollment was about 1700.

Milwaukee County is located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2010 census, the population was 947,735 and was estimated to be 945,016 in 2020. Spirit of Commerce is a public artwork by German artist Gustav Haug located in Jackson Park, which is on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This zinc sculpture is 15 feet (4.6 metres) tall and sits on a red granite pedestal near the park's lagoon. It is the oldest public sculpture in Milwaukee.

Mt. Olivet Cemetery is a cemetery administered by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milwaukee. It was established in 1907 on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Located at 3801 West Morgan Avenue, the cemetery is one of seven cemeteries in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Catholic Cemeteries (AOMCC) System. The 72-acre (290,000 m2) property holds over 27,000 in-ground burials in traditional graves and above-ground entombments and inurnments in crypts and niches. In 2006, a mausoleum expansion project of over 2,000 new crypts and over 600 niches began.

The bronze sculpture depicts a seagull and large fish in a struggle over a smaller fish. The artwork is located at the former corporate headquarters of Froedtert Malting Company which is now the US headquarters of MaltEurop.

The Sower is a public art work by artist Gustav Bohland, located on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The bronze sculpture depicts an agricultural worker dressed in overalls and carrying a seed bag. The figure's shirt sleeves are rolled up past his elbows and the wide brim of a hat shades his face. His shirt collar is open. One hand holds the seed bag against his hip, and the other hand is cupped and extended in a gesture of scattering seeds. His boots rest on a small round base mounted on a circular flagstone pedestal. The artwork is located at the former corporate headquarters of Froedtert Malting Company which is now the US headquarters for MaltEurop.

The Reaper is a public art work by artist Gustav Bohland, located on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The bronze sculpture depicts an agricultural worker dressed in overalls and a wide-brimmed hat. One hand rests against his hip, and the other hand grasps the snath of a scythe that rests across his shoulders. The tool's toe and cline hang behind the figure's back. His boots rest on a small round base mounted on a circular flagstone pedestal. The artwork is located at the former corporate headquarters of Froedtert Malting Company which is now the US headquarters of MaltEurop.

Root Creek was a hamlet in Sections 21-22 and 27-28 of the Town of Greenfield in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States, on the Milwaukee-Janesville plank road, at what is now roughly the intersection of that thoroughfare (now Forest Home Avenue) and 68th Street. The body of water after which it was named is nowadays referred to as the Root River.
