Temple Israel is a reform Jewish synagogue located in Westport, Connecticut. It was established in 1948. Currently, about 700 families are members of the community.

Coleytown is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It occupies the northeast corner of the town and is bordered to the north by the town of Weston and to the east by the town of Fairfield. Coleytown was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

The Kettle Creek Historic District encompasses one of the earliest settlement areas of the town of Weston, Connecticut. It consists of a small crossroads village center, extending north from the junction of Weston Road (Connecticut Route 57) and Broad Street to the junction with Old Weston Road, and includes a small number of well-preserved 18th and 19th-century houses. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Poplar Plains is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It occupies the northwest corner of the town and is bordered to the southwest by the city of Norwalk, to the northwest by the town of Wilton, to the northeast by the town of Weston, to the east by the Saugatuck River, and to the south by the Merritt Parkway. Poplar Plains was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Willowbrook Cemetery is located at 395 Main Street in Westport, Connecticut. Established in 1847, the cemetery is located close to Westport's downtown area, and features the burials of many members of Westport's historic families, including the Coley, Burr, Nash, Bedford, Bradley and Hurlbutt families.

The Bradley Edge Tool Company Historic District encompasses the surviving remnants of a historic 19th-century industrial village in Weston, Connecticut. Extending along Lyons Plain Road near White Birch Road and the Saugatuck River, the area was home to the Bradley Edge Tool Company, which flourished here between 1834 and 1870. The principal surviving elements are residences which were built for the owners and workers of the company; the factory itself burned in 1911. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

WWPT (90.3 FM, "Wrecker Radio") is a high school radio station licensed to serve Westport, Connecticut. The station is owned by Staples High School and licensed to the Westport Board of Education. It airs a high school radio format.The station was assigned the WWPT call letters by the Federal Communications Commission.WWPT broadcasts all Staples football games, as well as most other Staples sporting events. There are also student DJ shows from 2:30pm to 9:30pm Monday through Friday and 12:00pm to 4pm on Saturdays during the school year. In 2009, WWPT began broadcast via internet. In 2011, WWPT was named the best high school radio station from the John Drury National High School Radio Awards.[1] In 2015, WWPT was named the number two high school radio station in the country from the John Drury National High School Radio Awards. For the first time in the program's history the station won the John Drury National High School Radio Award for best sports play by play , won by Cooper Boardman, Adam Kaplan, and Zach Edelman. In 2016, members of WWPT placed as finalists in 14 categories in the national IBS high school radio awards. Cooper Boardman and Jack Caldwell won for Best Football Play-By-Play, with Cooper Boardman winning Best Use of YouTube and Best Basketball Play-By-Play. Shortly after success at the 2016 IBS Awards, members of WWPT were nominated for a total 17 John Drury National High School Radio Awards, 6 more than any other station in the country. Nominations spanned several categories including Best Newscast, Best Sports Talk Program, and Best Play-By-Play. At the May Awards ceremonies in Naperville, Illinois, WWPT students won first place in every category they were nominated in, winning 6 total first-place awards. WWPT was also named the number one high school radio station in the country for the first time since 2011. In 2017, WWPT was named the best high school radio station for the third time ever and second consecutive year from the John Drury National High School Radio Awards. In 2019, again at the John Drury National High School Radio Awards, WWPT once again walked away with the number 1 station in the country. They also came home with multiple individual first place awards including - Best News Feature Story by Jake Gersh and Cameron Manna, best sports play by play by Greg Settos and Jake Gersh, and Best sportscast by Greg Settos.

The Bradley–Wheeler House, also known as the Charles B. Wheeler House, is a historic house museum located at 25 Avery Place in Westport, Connecticut. Built about 1795 and restyled in the Italianate mode about 1867, it is one of the oldest surviving houses in Westport center. It was home to a procession of prominent local businessmen in the 19th century, and also includes a distinctive cobblestone barn that is the only known example of its type in the state. On July 5, 1984, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Norfield Historic District is a 18-acre (7.3 ha) historic district in Weston, Connecticut, United States, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. It includes the present-day town center of Weston, which was known as "Norfield" from 1795 to 1920.It was listed for its meeting architectural criteria, and included 16 contributing buildings. The district includes a total of 25 institutional and residential buildings, of which nine are more modern and non-contributing including the town hall and town library. The Norfield Congregational Church is the most prominent building.

Weston is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Weston, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It comprises the center of town government and surrounding residential areas. The area was known as "Norfield" from 1795 to 1920, and the Norfield Historic District, which occupies the center of the CDP, around the intersection of Norfield Road and Weston Road, preserves the older name. The CDP is in the southwest part of the town of Weston. Connecticut Routes 53 and 57 pass through the community. Route 57 leads south 4.6 miles (7.4 km) to the center of Westport and north 5.2 miles (8.4 km) to Georgetown, while Route 53 leads northeast 7 miles (11 km) to Redding and southwest the same distance to the center of Norwalk. Weston was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Old Hill is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It is in the western part of the town and is bordered to the west by the city of Norwalk. Old Hill was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.
