Gloucester High School (Ottawa)

The Earl Armstrong Arena is an indoor arena in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is used as an ice hockey arena in the winter to house the Ottawa Canadians Jr. team and in the summer uses its slab for lacrosse where the Gloucester Griffins Jr "B" team call home. It is located in the former city of Gloucester, at 2020 Ogilvy Road, adjacent to Gloucester High School. It is named after Reeve Earl Armstrong of Gloucester township.The area was host to the first, inaugural World Ringette Championships at the 1990 World Ringette Championships. A Canadian team, Team Alberta, took home the gold medal and the Sam Jacks Trophy whose design was changed in 1996.

Beacon Hill-Cyrville Ward (Ward 11) is a city ward in Ottawa, Ontario. Gloucester ( GLOST-ər) is a former municipality and now geographic area of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Located east of Ottawa's inner core, it was an independent city until amalgamated with the Regional Municipality of Ottawa–Carleton in 2001 to become the new city of Ottawa. The population of Gloucester is about 150,012 people (2021 Census).

Blair is a station on Ottawa's transitway and O-Train located at Blair Road and Regional Road 174. It is a major transfer point for commuters within urban Gloucester and Orléans.

CSIS agents are not allowed to make arrests.The agency is led by a director, the ninth and current being David Vigneault, who assumed the role on June 19, 2017.

Pineview (also spelled Pine View) is a neighbourhood in Beacon Hill-Cyrville Ward in the east end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Prior to amalgamation in 2001, the neighbourhood was part of the City of Gloucester. As of the Canada 2021 Census, the neighbourhood had a population of 6,179. It is bounded by the Queensway on the north, Highway 417 to the west, the Greenbelt on the east and Innes Road to the south. Its adjacent neighbourhoods are Beacon Hill, Blackburn Hamlet and Cyrville. Colonel By Secondary School is a high school in the Beacon Hill neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is a non-semestered school, and was the only English public school in Ottawa that offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma programme until Merivale High School began its IB programme in September 2019. Colonel By is renowned locally and provincially as an academically rigorous school. In the 2018–19 school year, it was ranked the sixth best secondary school in Ontario by the Fraser Institute.

The Communications Security Establishment (CSE; French: Centre de la sécurité des télécommunications, CST), formerly (from 2008-2014) called the Communications Security Establishment Canada (CSEC), is the Government of Canada's national cryptologic agency. The Skate Canada Hall of Fame is the sports hall of fame for figure skating maintained by Skate Canada. It was established in 1990 as the Canadian Figure Skating Hall of Fame. The members are inducted into one of four categories that best represents the inductee's contributions to skating in Canada: athletes, coaches, builders, and officials. There is no physical home for the Hall of Fame; the offices of Skate Canada house historical artifacts and information about its honoured members.

The National Science Library (NSL), formerly known as the Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information or CISTI, began in 1917 as the library of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). The library took on the role of national science library unofficially in 1957 and became the official National Science Library in 1966.The National Science Library is located in Ottawa, Ontario, and houses one of the world's most comprehensive collections of publications in science, technology, engineering and medicine. It is part of NRC's Knowledge, Information and Technology Services Branch and provides NRC and Canada's research community with information and information services to accelerate discovery, innovation and commercialization. The NRC Research Press joined the library in 1992. On September 1, 2010, NRC Research Press became a private company called Canadian Science Publishing and is no longer directly affiliated with CISTI or the NRC.
