Kachap-e Olya (Persian: كچپعليا, also Romanized as Kachap-e ‘Olyā; also known as Kachab-e Bālā) is a village in Dabuy-ye Jonubi Rural District, Dabudasht District, Amol County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 648, in 185 families.

At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 18,641 in 6,320 households. The largest of its 38 villages was Marij Mahalleh, with 2,099 people.

The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,099 people in 719 households, by which time the village was in the newly formed Dabuy-ye Miyani Rural District. It was the largest village in its rural district.
