Ridgewood Public Schools

Ridgewood is a village in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Ridgewood is a suburban bedroom community of New York City, located approximately 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Midtown Manhattan. As of the 2020 United States census, the village's population was 25,979, an increase of 1,021 (+4.1%) from the 2010 census count of 24,958, which in turn reflected an increase of 22 (+0.1%) from 24,936 in the 2000 census.It has been one of the state's highest-income communities. In 2000, its per capita income of $51,658 was ranked the 35th-highest in the state. Based on data from the 2006–2010 American Community Survey, it had a per-capita income of $67,560, 31st in the state. Based on data from the American Community Survey for 2013–2017, it had a median household income of $162,011, ranked 7th in the state among municipalities with more than 10,000 residents, more than double the statewide median of $76,475.Ridgewood was ranked 26th in Money magazine's "Best Places to Live" in 2011.

The Beech Street School, is located in Ridgewood, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The schoolhouse was built in 1895 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 12, 1998. The building is an example of the Romanesque Revival style of architecture.

Archibald-Vroom House is located in Ridgewood, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1785 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 24, 1984. Dr. William Vroom, a renowned physician, converted the house into a small hospital in 1888. The house is now used as a retail site.

The James Rose Center is a non-profit landscape research and study foundation located at 506 East Ridgewood Avenue in the village of Ridgewood in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. Its headquarters, the James C. Rose Residence, was designed by landscape architect James C. Rose. The historic house was built in 1953 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 11, 2019, for its significance in architecture and landscape architecture. It is also a member of the Iconic Houses Network.

Ridgewood High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school in Ridgewood, in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as the lone secondary school of the Ridgewood Public Schools. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,789 students and 135.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.2:1. There were 22 students (1.2% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 14 (0.8% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Westervelt–Cameron House, is located in Ridgewood, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1767 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983. This home was meticulously renovated, restored and extended in 2009. This home is one of the most sustainable and historical homes in all of New Jersey.

Ho-Ho-Kus Brook is a tributary of the Saddle River (which is itself a tributary of the Passaic River) in Bergen County, New Jersey, in the United States.The brook originates in Mahwah. Ho-Ho-Kus Brook joins the Saddle River at the Dunkerhook area of Saddle River County Park. Their confluence marks the border of four Bergen County communities: Ridgewood, Paramus, Glen Rock and Fair Lawn.While it flows it marks the border between Mahwah and Wyckoff.

Ridgewood Township existed in Bergen County, New Jersey, and was established on March 30, 1876, consisting of the easternmost third of what remained of Franklin Township, west of the Saddle River. Ridgewood Township lasted a mere 18 years, before it was subdivided in 1894, at the peak of the "boroughitis" phenomenon that was sweeping through Bergen County at the time. Midland Park was incorporated as a borough on September 6, 1894, and also included portions of Franklin Township. Glen Rock was formed on September 12, 1894, and also included territory that had been part of Saddle River Township. The Village of Ridgewood was incorporated on November 20, 1894, replacing the municipal government of Ridgewood Township.
