Paramus Reformed Church Historic District is a historic district bounded by Franklin Turnpike, Route 17, Saddle River, south side of Valleau Cemetery, and E Glen Avenue in Ridgewood, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The congregation was established in 1725 by Dutch settlers. The stone church was built in 1800, replacing an earlier building from 1735 and using the bricks of the old church. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 25, 1975. The church also has a small gated cemetery with graves of Dutch ancestors and a path that leads to a nearby residential street. The church was used as a hospital, barrack and prison in the Revolutionary War. The church is currently still in use. On November 16 and December 26, 2014, Joseph Galli of Somerville allegedly used a high powered AR-15 rifle to shoot inside the church. This led to the breaking of a stained glass window dating back to 1875. Him and Alexander Norell were charged with more than $2,000 in property damage and indicted for gun charges with an assault rifle.

Ridgewood High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school in Ridgewood, in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as the lone secondary school of the Ridgewood Public Schools. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,789 students and 135.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.2:1. There were 22 students (1.2% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 14 (0.8% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

The terminal is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Oak Street and Dayton Street at Van Neste Square, approximately 820 feet (250 m) ESE of NJTransit's Ridgewood train station.

The John A. L. Zabriskie House, also known as the Zabriskie–Schedler House, is located at 460 West Saddle River Road in the village of Ridgewood in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The historic frame house was built around 1825 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 22, 2019, for its significance in architecture.John A. L. Zabriskie was a farmer. After his death in 1864, his son, James Zabriskie, inherited the property. It was later purchased by the Smith family in 1908. Florence Schedler, daughter of Carman Smith, lived here until her death in 2007. The village purchased the property in 2009, with plans to use it as a public park.

The James Rose Center is a non-profit landscape research and study foundation located at 506 East Ridgewood Avenue in the village of Ridgewood in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. Its headquarters, the James C. Rose Residence, was designed by landscape architect James C. Rose. The historic house was built in 1953 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 11, 2019, for its significance in architecture and landscape architecture. It is also a member of the Iconic Houses Network.

David Ackerman House is a historic house at 415 E. Saddle River in Ridgewood, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. It was built in 1750 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Alpine Learning Group is a state funding approved private special education school in Paramus, New Jersey, United States. Established in 1988, the school serves students aged 3 to 21 with autism spectrum disorder, and it is known to be a prestigious educational and research facility utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) services.Although private schools are often independently funded, Alpine has each student's local district cover the tuition.

The Ackerman–Van Emburgh House is a historic stone house located at 789 East Glen Avenue in the village of Ridgewood in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983, for its significance in architecture and exploration/settlement. It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS).Based on architectural evidence, the house was built in the 18th century or early 19th century by a member of the Ackerman family. It was sold to John Van Emburgh, who later sold it to his brother, Henry Van Emburgh. The one and one-half story house features a gambrel roof.

The Beech Street School, is located in Ridgewood, Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The schoolhouse was built in 1895 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 12, 1998. The building is an example of the Romanesque Revival style of architecture.

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 10, 1983, for its significance in architecture. It was listed as part of the Early Stone Houses of Bergen County Multiple Property Submission (MPS).According to the nomination form, William Cairns built a grist mill here in 1778. A house and mill are noted as Ackerman's Mill in 1780. Terhune is listed as the mill owner in 1791. B. S. Demarest owned the house by 1861.
