Lezayre

Glen Duff (Manx: black glen) is situated adjacent to the 23rd road milestone on the A3 Castletown to Ramsey road with the junction with the B14 Bernaharra Road (Road of the Ayre) in the parish of Kirk Christ Lezayre in the Isle of Man.

Glen Auldyn is a narrow valley about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) long on the Isle of Man, with a river of the same name. This flows in a NNE direction and flows into the River Sulby not far from its estuary, near Ramsey. It is entirely within the parish of Lezayre. The lower one-third of the valley is inhabited and is partly followed by the B16 road. This section is overlooked by Sky Hill. The middle section of the valley contains a ribbon of mature oak woodland. The valley contains the small church of St Fingan. In the valley is an underground reservoir with a capacity of around 6,800 cubic metres (240,000 cu ft) which supplies the north and east of the island.

Ayre ( AIR; Manx: Inver Ayre) is one of the six sheadings of the Isle of Man. It is located in the north of the island (part of the traditional North Side division) and consists of the three historic parishes of Andreas, Bride and (Kirk Christ) Lezayre. The town of Ramsey, which is administered separately, covers areas of two historic parishes (Lezayre, and Maughold in the sheading of Garff). It is treated as part of Garff for some purposes, e.g. the coroner.Other settlements in the sheading include Glen Auldyn and Sulby (both in the parish of Lezayre).

Lezayre Railway Station (Manx: Stashoon Raad Yiarn Chreest ny h-Ayrey) was an intermediate stopping place on the Manx Northern Railway, a line that ran between St. John's and Ramsey in the Isle of Man. It was the first halt outside the terminus at Ramsey. It was later owned and operated by the Isle of Man Railway. It served the small village known as Churchtown centred on the parish church, Kirk Christ Lezayre.

Ginger Hall is an uphill left-hand bend following Sulby Bridge on the Isle of Man TT course, a traditionally popular spectator and photographer vantage point with views of motorcycles approaching from Sulby Bridge and exiting towards Kerrowmoar. Situated on a corner-junction, the adjacent Ginger Hall Hotel dates from the mid-19th century and offers refreshments and access to another major viewing area at the Bungalow close to the summit of Snaefell mountain via the B8 Claddagh Road and the A14 Sulby Road.

Sulby Bridge Railway Station (Manx: Stashoon Raad Yiarn Droghad Sulby) was a station on the Manx Northern Railway (MNR), later owned and operated by the Isle of Man Railway; it served the village of Sulby in the Isle of Man and was an intermediate stopping place on a line that ran between St. John's and Ramsey.

Snaefell (Old Norse: snjœ-fjall/snjó-fall – snow mountain) – (Manx: Sniaull) is the highest mountain and the only summit higher than 2,000 feet (610 m) on the Isle of Man, at 2,037 feet (620.9 m) above sea level. The summit is crowned by a railway station, cafe and several communications masts.

The Great Snaefell Mine, also referred to as the East Snaefell Mine, was a zinc mine located high in the Laxey Valley on the slopes of Snaefell Mountain, in the parish of Lonan, Isle of Man. The mine reached a depth of 1,188 ft (362 m) and is remembered as the scene of the Isle of Man's worst mining disaster in 1897.

Hall Caine Airport, also referred to as Close Lake Airfield, was an airfield on the Isle of Man located near the town of Ramsey. It was named after the author Sir Thomas Henry Hall Caine CH, KBE by his sons Gordon Hall Caine and Derwent Hall Caine, who initiated the project, and was the first airport in the British Isles to be named after a person.From 1935 to 1937 it handled domestic scheduled passenger flights to English, Scottish and Irish airports. By 1937 it had fallen into disuse, primarily due to its location.

Snaefell Summit railway station (Manx: Stashoon Raad Yiarn Vullagh y Sniaull) is the upper terminus of the Snaefell Mountain Railway on the Isle of Man and is served by the tramway of the same name.

The Mountain Mile is a 1.3 mile (2.09 km) section of a purpose-built graded road situated between the 27th and 29th Milestone roadside markers on the Snaefell Mountain Course used for the Isle of Man TT and Manx Grand Prix races on the A18 Mountain Road in the parish of Lezayre in the Isle of Man. The Mountain Mile begins at the nearby Guthrie's Bridge at the 27th Milestone and incorporates the former East Snaefell sheep-gate, East (Snaefell) Mountain Gate and the Mountain Box. The A18 Snaefell mountain road was developed in the mid-nineteenth century from a number of pre-existing roads and bridle paths. This included the building of a number of sheep-gates including the East Mountain Gate, the Beinn-y-Phott sheep-gate and Keppel Gate. The primary A18 Mountain Road section from Park Lewellyn (North Barrule) to Keppel Gate is a product of the Disaforesting Commission of 1860. This section of the A18 Mountain Road was purpose built, reflecting typical nineteenth century highway and railway construction practices with many small scale cuttings, embankments and revetments which follows land contours with purpose built graded-sections. For the 1934 Isle of Man TT races major alterations to the Mountain Course occurred, including the removal of the East Snaefell Mountain sheep-gate.The Mountain Mile was part of the Highland Course and Four Inch Course used for the Gordon Bennett Trial and Tourist Trophy car races held between 1904 and 1922, since 1911 for the TT, and from 1923 for the Manx Grand Prix races.

Guthrie's Memorial (previously The Cutting) is a S-bend corner between the 26 and 27 mile road-side markers on the primary A18 Snaefell mountain road, part of the Snaefell Mountain Course known mainly for motorcycle racing, situated in the Isle of Man parish of Lezayre.
