Crater Renaissance Academy of Arts and Sciences is a public high school located in Jackson County, Oregon, United States. It is one of three public high schools in Oregon's School District 6, serving the Southern Oregon communities of Central Point, Gold Hill and Sams Valley.

The Conro Fiero House, also known as Woodlawn Acres and latterly as the Mon Desir restaurant, was a revival-style Tudor mansion built in 1910 by Conro Fiero. Originally listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 9, 1981, it was delisted on June 1, 2011, following its destruction by fire.

Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport (IATA: MFR, ICAO: KMFR, FAA LID: MFR) is a public-use airport three miles north of downtown Medford, in Jackson County, Oregon, United States. Owned and operated by Jackson County's Aviation Authority, the airport serves southwest Oregon. Originally named Medford–Jackson County Airport, it was renamed to Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport after it became an international airport in 1994.In December of 2018, the airport celebrated its 1 million+ annual passenger milestone. In doing so Medford joined both PDX and EUG as the only Oregon airports to have surpassed 1 million passengers in a year. By virtue of annual commercial passengers, Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport is the third busiest airport in Oregon with 1,010,920 passenger enplanements and deplanements in 2018 (behind Eugene and Portland). The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a primary commercial service airport (more than 10,000 enplanements per year).

Claire Hanley Arboretum is an arboretum located on the grounds at the Oregon State University Extension and Research campus, 569 Hanley Road, Medford, Oregon. The arboretum was first planted in the 1960s by the Hanley sisters, with additional plantings since 1995. Mature trees include the dogwood Cornus mas, Davidia involucrata, and Oxydendrum arboreum. The arboretum land was once part of the Michael Hanley Farmstead. Michael Hanley purchased the original donation land claim from David Clinton and Archibald Welton.Upon his death, the farm was divided with Alice Hanley receiving the portion with the home and buildings. On her death the property was left to her niece Claire Hanley, and her sisters Martha and Mary Hanley; daughters of Alice's older brother John A Hanley.
