English Martyrs' Church, Wallasey

St Mary's Catholic College (SMC) is a Catholic secondary school located in Wallasey, Wirral, in North West England. St Mary's is one of four Catholic secondary schools in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral. The others are St Anselm's College, St John Plessington Catholic College and Upton Hall School FCJ. St Mary's is a Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Wallasey, Wirral, England. Wallasey Village is a district of the town of Wallasey, within the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral in England. Localities within this area are informally said to be in "The Village". At the 2001 Census the population of the district was 8,550.Wallasey Village is the most westerly township in Wallasey, being bordered by the Wallasey suburbs of New Brighton to the north east, Liscard to the east and Poulton to the south east. Further west is Leasowe, and to the north, beyond Harrison Park, is the King's Parade fronting Liverpool Bay. The Wirral Show used to be held on the extensive grassed areas - known as "the Dips" along this promenade, to the west of New Brighton.

The Wallasey pub shooting was a mass shooting on 24 December 2022 at 23:50 (GMT). The shooting occurred at the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey Village, a district of Wallasey, Merseyside, England. One person was killed and four others were injured, one critically. An investigation into the attack began early the next day.

The Mosslands School is a comprehensive, community school for boys aged 11–18. It is situated in Wallasey Village, Wirral, England. It is a STEAM Centre of Excellence and became a specialist Technology College in 2004.The school has 1097 pupils of whom 159 are in the sixth form. The school is rare in that it is a single-sex comprehensive school. Whilst Mosslands is a boys school, it accepts girls in the sixth form. Ofsted rated the school as Good in 2016.

New Brighton Association Football Club is the name of two football clubs from the seaside resort of New Brighton, in Wallasey, Merseyside in England. The original club founded in 1921 were members of the Football League from 1923 until 1951, playing 21 seasons in Division 3 North but were disbanded in 1983. In 1993, a club with the same name was formed and played in the West Cheshire League, until folding in 2012.

Ashville Football Club is a football club based in Wallasey, England. They are currently members of the North West Counties League Division One South and play at Villa Park, Wallasey.

St Nicholas Church is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester on Newport Avenue, in Wallasey, in Wirral, England. It was designed by J. F. Doyle and built in 1910–11. The church is located near Wallasey Golf Club and is known as the Harrison Memorial Church or the Golfers' Church. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Weatherhead High School is a single sex girls' academy school with mixed Sixth Form, located in Merseyside, England in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral. In 2003, the school relocated from three separate sites around the Wallasey area to a new purpose-built state of the art site on Breck Road. The school has over 1500 pupils on roll, ranging from 11 to 18. There is a mixed Sixth Form of up to 400 students. Warren railway station was located near New Brighton, Wirral, England. The station was built on the New Brighton branch of the Seacombe, Hoylake and Deeside Railway, between Wallasey Grove Road and New Brighton stations, opening on 30 March 1888. The branch became part of the Wirral Railway on 1 July 1891.Remotely situated, the station only ever served a small part of the community (and the local golf course). This, combined with an infrequent service, and the later introduction of a tram service on Warren Drive, meant the station was little used, and it was closed on 1 October 1915. The station had one siding nearby, on the seaward side, which was possibly used for the transportation of sand. The foundations of the up platform are extant, and were revealed during engineering work in 2006. The line past the station site remains in use as part of the Wirral Line, now operated by Merseyrail.
