James Armor House is a historic home located near Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, stuccoed stone and frame dwelling that was constructed in three major building phases. It consists of a two-story stone rear wing dating to about 1804, a 2+1⁄2-story vernacular Italianate style stone main block built about 1850, and two-story Colonial Revival style frame wing built in the 1930s. Also on the property is a contributing garage/workshop built in the 1930s.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Charles Springer Tavern, also known as the Oak Hill Inn, Four Mile Inn, and Sign of the Three Tons, is a historic inn and tavern located near Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware, USA. The building is a two-story, log and stone building that evolved in four major construction phases during the period from 1750 to 1850. The oldest section is a two-story, two-bay, gable-roofed log section. A stone, two-story, two-bay, gable-roofed section was added about 1780; the roof level, window and door openings and floor levels were subsequently raised on the original log section; and a stone, 1+1⁄2-story lean-to was added on the rear wall of the log section. It has been a residence since the early 20th century. It is in a vernacular Federal style. Also on the property are the contributing ruins of a stone barn built in 1852, the ruins of a stone springhouse, and a stone mileage marker identifying the location as being four miles from the City of Wilmington.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Hoopes Reservoir is a reservoir in New Castle County, Delaware. The reservoir first impounded the water of Old Mill Stream and Red Clay Creek in 1932, with a dam built by the city of Wilmington, Delaware, for municipal drinking water. It has a water surface of 187 acres, a maximum capacity of 11,000 acre-feet, and a normal capacity of 6300 acre-feet. The reservoir and its surroundings have been open to the public since 1971. It is the largest reservoir in Delaware. The dam, Edgar M. Hoopes Dam (National ID # DE00015), is a concrete gravity dam originally built in 1932 and restructured several times since. It is 135 feet high and 845 feet in length at the crest. Its namesake, Edgar M. Hoopes, was Chief Engineer of the Wilmington Water Department from 1913 through 1918, according to a plaque on site.

Alexis I. duPont High School (AI) is a public high school located in Greenville, Delaware with a Wilmington postal address. It is one of the four schools offering grades 9–12 in the Red Clay Consolidated School District. 807 students were enrolled during the 2019–2020 school year. Areas zoned to AI come from portions of Wilmington and several suburbs, including Greenville, most of Hockessin, a portion of North Star, and Centreville, as well as nearby Breck's Mill. In Wilmington, it serves the historic districts of Cool Spring Park, Delaware Avenue, and Wawaset Park.In 2020, the high school was the site of the first campaign event featuring Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris.

Saint Catherine of Siena Parish is located in Wilmington, Delaware. It has a Roman Catholic church located on Centerville Road with over 1100 families. The original church was founded in the 1960s by the surrounding Catholic community. A new church was recently built in 1993 and the original church foundation is now the St. Catherine gymnasium. Many of the original founders and their families are still present. New arriving families include Mexican families. Certain masses are available in Spanish. The Saint Catherine of Siena Elementary School graduated its last class in 2011 before closing and merging into the All Saints Catholic School along with St. Matthew's Elementary school in Wilmington and Corpus Christi Elementary school in Elsmere. The school building is now owned by the government and is used for space for a charter school. Four hundred children attend the religious education/Christian formation weekly. The St. Catherine high school youth and middle school youth groups stay active and do work-camps in the summer. For those families speaking Spanish, there is a bilingual program.

Wooddale Bridge is a covered bridge over Red Clay Creek at Wooddale in New Castle County, Delaware. It is one of three covered bridges in the state of Delaware along with the very similar Ashland Covered Bridge and the Smith Bridge. It and the Ashland bridge remain, of the thirteen bridges along the Red Clay Creek that were marked on an 1868 map.

Mount Cuba Astronomical Observatory is an astronomical observatory is located at 1610 Hillside Mill Road, Greenville, Delaware, United States. This observatory is home to a 0.6-meter telescope used by the Delaware Astronomical Society, the University of Delaware, and the Whole Earth Telescope. Associated with the Observatory is the Mt. Cuba Astronomy Group (MCAG). The MCAG is composed of interested amateurs and engages in astronomy education and public outreach. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at the Mt. Cuba Astronomical Observatory. A Sunquest sundial, designed and machined by Richard L. Schmoyer, is on the Mount Cuba Observatory grounds near the parking lot. This mean time sundial automatically corrects for the equation of time through the use of an analemma-inspired gnomon.
