Conewago, Pennsylvania

Conewago Creek is an 80.2-mile-long (129.1 km) tributary of the Susquehanna River in Adams and York counties in Pennsylvania in the United States, with its watershed also draining a small portion of Carroll County, Maryland. The source is at an elevation of 1,440 feet (440 m), east of Caledonia State Park, in Franklin Township in Adams County. The mouth is the confluence with the Susquehanna River at York Haven in York County at an elevation of 259 feet (79 m).

Governor Stable is a notable geologic formation in northern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Scattered along the northern bank of a small drainage are a high number of large diabase boulders. Governor Stable is privately owned. Friends of Governor Stable administers a recreational lease on the property, allowing organization members access to the property for bouldering.

The district encompasses approximately 89 square miles (230 km2) and consists of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, East Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, Londonderry Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, South Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, and Conewago Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. According to 2000 federal census data, the district served a resident population of 22,546. By 2010, the district's population increased to 24,747 people. The educational attainment levels for the district's population (25 years old and over) were 91.2% high school graduates and 28.2% college graduates. The district is one of the 500 public school districts of Pennsylvania. According to the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center, 20% of the district's pupils lived at 185% or below the Federal Poverty level as shown by their eligibility for the federal free or reduced price school meal programs in 2012. In 2009, the district residents' per capita income was $23,890 a year, while the median family income was $58,643. In Dauphin County, the median household income was $52,371. By 2013, the median household income in the United States rose to $52,100.Lower Dauphin High School students may choose to attend Dauphin County Technical School for training in the construction and mechanical trades. The district is served by Capital Area Intermediate Unit 15 which offers a variety of services, including a completely developed K-12 curriculum that is mapped and aligned with the Pennsylvania Academic Standards (available online), shared services, a group purchasing program, and a wide variety of special education and special needs services.

The source is at an elevation of 1,100 feet (340 m) at Mount Gretna Heights in Lebanon County. The mouth is the confluence with the Susquehanna River at an elevation of 261 feet (80 m) at the border of Dauphin and Lancaster counties, just south of Three Mile Island in the river and just north of the unincorporated village of Falmouth in Conoy Township, Lancaster County.

Londonderry Township is a township in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,235 at the 2010 census.The township includes the Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station, the location of the largest accident in the history of the American nuclear power generating industry, which took place in 1979. The nuclear power plant closed in 2019.

Elizabethtown station is an Amtrak railroad station on the Keystone Corridor in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The station is served by Amtrak's Keystone Service between New York City and Harrisburg, and by the Pennsylvanian between New York and Pittsburgh. The station was built in 1915 by the Pennsylvania Railroad to replace another that had been built in 1900. The station building was closed in 1977 by Amtrak. The title to the building was transferred to the borough of Elizabethtown in 1998, and it was leased back to Amtrak. From 2009 to 2011, the station underwent a 21-month renovation to make it handicapped-accessible.

Kreider Shoe Manufacturing Company is a historic factory building located at Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1905, and is a three- to four-story, "U"-shaped, brick building. It is 21 bays wide and 13 bays deep and sits on a rough limestone foundation. It housed the A.S. Kreider Shoe Manufacturing Company until 1954, after which it was used as a garment factory.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The building was remodeled, and is now used for apartment dwellings.

Elizabethtown (Pennsylvania Dutch: Betzischteddel) is a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is 18 miles (29 km) southeast of Harrisburg, the state capital. Small factories existed at the turn of the 20th century when the population in 1900 was 1,861. As of the 2020 census, the population of the borough was 11,639. Elizabethtown is commonly referred to in south-central Pennsylvania as "E-Town." This nickname is also used for the local college and high school.

Falmouth is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Conoy Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2010 census the population was 420.
