Peel en Maas (Dutch pronunciation: [peːl ɛn ˈmaːs]; Limburgish: Pieël en Maas) has been a new municipality in the southeastern Netherlands since 1 January 2010. It is situated in the province of Limburg. The municipality is formed by the towns of Panningen, Helden, Kessel, Kessel-Eik, Maasbree, Baarlo, Beringe, Egchel, Grashoek, Koningslust, and Meijel. It has a population of more than 40.000 people from various backgrounds. The municipality has several facilities such as a high school, public library, swimming pool, and a well connected public bus transport system. Each town has its own characteristics. The municipality's official slogan is: "beleef de ruimte!" (experience the space!).

The Bouwens van der Boijecollege is a public high school located in Panningen, the Netherlands. There are four different levels of education enrollment: vmbo, havo, atheneum, gymnasium. The school follows the Dutch national public school system, which is highly centralized in the Netherlands. The government sets standards, evaluates, and provides financial needs to fulfill the educational needs.

Egchel is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Peel en Maas, and lies about 14 km north of Roermond. The village was first mentioned in 1405 as Heynchen van Aygel. The etymology is unknown.Egchel was home to 195 people in 1840. The Catholic St Jacobus de Meerdere Church was built in 1948.

Helden (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦɛldə(n)] ; Limburgish: Helje) is a former municipality and a village in the southeastern Netherlands, located in the province of Limburg. In January 2010 Helden joined with other municipalities to form the new municipality of Peel en Maas.

Beringe (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbeːrɪŋə]; Limburgish: [ˈbeːʀɪŋə] is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Peel en Maas, and lies about 15 km west of Venlo. The village was first mentioned in 1447 as to Bieringen, and means "settlement of the people of Bero (person)".The St Josef Church was built in 1928. On 15 November 1944, the tower was blown up and collapsed on the nave. The church was restored in 1951, and a new tower was built in 1952.Beringe was home to 330 people in 1840.

Laar is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Peel en Maas, 2 km southwest of the town of Maasbree itself.Laar is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Maasbree. Laar has no place name signs, and consists of about 10 houses.

Neer is a village in Limburg, Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Leudal, on the river Maas about 8 km north of Roermond.

Beesel (Dutch: [ˈbeːzəl] ; Limburgish: Bezel [ˈbeːzəl]) is a municipality and a town in the province of Limburg in the southeastern Netherlands.

Attractiepark Toverland is an amusement park located in Sevenum, the Netherlands. It first opened in 2001 as an indoor family entertainment center, operated by the Gelissen Group. Toverland won the European Star Award for the Best Theme Park in 2018. More recently, the park has shifted towards the adult demographic, partially rebranding and adding new attractions. A name change was also considered in 2018.

Troy is a wooden roller coaster located at Toverland in Sevenum, the Netherlands. It was manufactured by American manufacturer Great Coasters International (GCI) and opened on June 29, 2007. Troy was GCI's second roller coaster in Europe, following Thunderbird at PowerPark in Finland. With a height of 31.9 metres (105 ft), a maximum speed of 86.9 kilometres per hour (54.0 mph), and a track length of 1,077.2 metres (3,534 ft), Troy is the tallest, fastest, and longest wooden roller coaster in the Netherlands as of 2018.

Maasbree (Dutch: [maːzˈbreː] ; Limburgish: Bree) is a former municipality and a town in southeastern Netherlands. Until 1818, the municipality was just called Bree in Dutch too.
