WYHA (102.9 FM) is a radio station broadcasting the Bible Broadcasting Network in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States.

WFUR (1570 AM, "WFUR Classic") is a radio station broadcasting a religious format licensed to Grand Rapids, Michigan. It features a variety of teaching and preaching programs. Additionally, it features a variety of music. The music is a mixture of hymns and Christian classics (1960s through 1980s). WFUR transmits with a power of 1,000 watts daytime and 307 watts nighttime. In May 2020 music was changed to 1970s to current and the "Classic" designation was mostly dropped. With the sale of sister station WFUR-FM (102.9) there is now only one WFUR on the radio dial. The separate music libraries are being merged.

Union High School is one of the five high schools in Grand Rapids Public School district. Union has a student population of around 1,200 students for the 2010/2011 school year. The former principal was Justin Jennings, along with assistant principals Aida Toledo and Belinda Jimenez. Union offers a wide range of opportunities for students the Grand Rapids area, it is the Art Hub for all art classes in the district and is the home of the School of Construction and Design. Union is a diverse school. Within the school there are students from many cultural backgrounds, it is common to hear multiple languages be spoken throughout the building, by both staff and students. Union's mascot is the Red Hawk and the school has a strong athletics program, a strong ROTC program, offers a wide range of after school opportunities and has a diverse collection of elective courses. In the 2012/2013 school year, the principal was Karl Nelson and Belinda Jimenez, Aaron Roussey, and Jessica Maat were assistant principals. As of the 2021 school year, Aaron Roussey is principal. Jessica Maat and Dana Bachelder are assistant principals.

Plaster Creek is a 25.9-mile-long (41.7 km) urban stream in Kent County, Michigan in the United States. It is a tributary of the Grand River. The stream is named for the large deposit of gypsum found at its mouth. Its mean monthly flow averages 22 million gallons per day. Two bridges listed on the National Register of Historic Places cross the creek.

The Lexington School is a former public school building located at 45 Lexington, NW, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. As of 2015, the building was slated for redevelopment into apartments.

Villa Maria is a retirement community located at 1315 Walker NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The campus was originally operated for the purpose of ministering to troubled young women. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Alabastine Mine is an underground gypsum mine in Wyoming, Michigan, originally dug by hand in 1907. The mine once included an underground stable for the mules used to haul the gypsum.

Grand Rapids Cycle Company Factory was a historic manufacturing plant located at 514 Butterworth Street SW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. In 2007 the building was destroyed by fire.

The Basilica of St. Adalbert is a minor basilica of the Catholic Church and a parish church of the Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. Its namesake and patron is St. Adalbert of Prague (c. 956 – 23 April 997), bishop and martyr, and a Patron of Poland, the nation from which the Basilica's original parishioners emigrated.

The American Box Board Company Headquarters and Factory is a former factory building located at 470 Market Avenue SW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

The Beckering Family Carillon Tower is a 151-foot-tall (46 m) carillon-clock tower located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States on the Pew Campus of Grand Valley State University. The tower and carillon was funded and built by Pioneer Construction in 2000. The Beckering family, for which the tower is named, established Pioneer Construction in 1933.The 48 carillon bells are cast of bronze by the Fonderie Paccard in France, who also installed them within the tower.GVSU also has another carillon, the Cook Carillon Tower, located on the main Allendale campus in Allendale, Michigan.

The Grand Rapids Swing Bridge is a four span Pratt truss railroad swing bridge in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was built in 1902 for the Pere Marquette Railroad as a swing bridge to allow steamboats to pass up the Grand River, but this river traffic was discontinued in 1907. The turntable is rusted shut and currently inoperable. Originally it was built as a double track bridge, but one set of tracks has been removed. The bridge itself is still in use, and carries an Amtrak train which runs from the Amtrak station just east of the bridge, as well as CSX freight trains. In crossing the Grand River, it touches the south end of a small island.
