Alabastine Mine

Plaster Creek is a 25.9-mile-long (41.7 km) urban stream in Kent County, Michigan in the United States. It is a tributary of the Grand River. The stream is named for the large deposit of gypsum found at its mouth. Its mean monthly flow averages 22 million gallons per day. Two bridges listed on the National Register of Historic Places cross the creek.

WFUR (1570 AM, "WFUR Classic") is a radio station broadcasting a religious format licensed to Grand Rapids, Michigan. It features a variety of teaching and preaching programs. Additionally, it features a variety of music. The music is a mixture of hymns and Christian classics (1960s through 1980s). WFUR transmits with a power of 1,000 watts daytime and 307 watts nighttime. In May 2020 music was changed to 1970s to current and the "Classic" designation was mostly dropped. With the sale of sister station WFUR-FM (102.9) there is now only one WFUR on the radio dial. The separate music libraries are being merged.

The Potter's House is a K-12 private Christian school in Michigan. The elementary and middle school campus is in Grand Rapids and the high school campus is in Wyoming. As of 2017 the superintendent is John Booy.U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos and Dick DeVos funded its technological features, and Emily DeRuy wrote in The Atlantic that the couple "have contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars and countless volunteer hours."

The Chicago Drive Bridge, also known as the Business Route M-21–Plaster Creek Bridge, is a bridge in Wyoming, Michigan, carrying Business Spur I-196 (BS I-196) over Plaster Creek. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

John Ball Zoological Garden is an urban park located on the west side of the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. The John Ball Zoo is situated on the ravines and bluffs along the west edge of the park. The zoo houses a variety of animals from around the world and is a significant regional attraction. With the Zoo School and Wildlife Conservation Fund, the zoo gives something back to the community and world as a whole. The zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), and was the first zoo in Michigan to receive accreditation.

Norton Mound Group, (also known as Norton Mound Site (20KT1) and Hopewell Indian Mounds Park), is a prehistoric Goodall Focus mounds site near Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The Metal Office Furniture Company (Steelcase) Plants No. 2 and 3 are historic manufacturing plants located at 401 Hall Street SW in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The American Box Board Company Headquarters and Factory is a former factory building located at 470 Market Avenue SW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

The Grand Rapids Swing Bridge is a four span Pratt truss railroad swing bridge in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was built in 1902 for the Pere Marquette Railroad as a swing bridge to allow steamboats to pass up the Grand River, but this river traffic was discontinued in 1907. The turntable is rusted shut and currently inoperable. Originally it was built as a double track bridge, but one set of tracks has been removed. The bridge itself is still in use, and carries an Amtrak train which runs from the Amtrak station just east of the bridge, as well as CSX freight trains. In crossing the Grand River, it touches the south end of a small island.

Grand Rapids Cycle Company Factory was a historic manufacturing plant located at 514 Butterworth Street SW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. In 2007 the building was destroyed by fire.
