CJBC (860 kHz) is a French-language, non-commercial, public radio station in Toronto, Ontario. It is the Ici Radio-Canada Première Network's outlet for much of Southern Ontario. The studios are in the Canadian Broadcasting Centre on Front Street West in Downtown Toronto. CJBC is a Class A station. It runs at 50,000 watts, the maximum power for Canadian AM stations. It uses a non-directional antenna. The transmitter is on Auburn Road in Milton near Ontario Highway 401. CJBC programming is heard on five rebroadcasters around Southern Ontario.

Lisgar GO Station is a railway station on GO Transit's Milton line in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It opened for service on September 4, 2007. The station is located at Argentia Road and Tenth Line, near the interchange of Highway 401, and Highway 407. It is named after the Lisgar neighbourhood in which it is located, which is itself named after Lord Lisgar, second Governor General of Canada from 1869–1872. The station was built to alleviate the congested Meadowvale GO Station, and to provide better service for the local community. The station provides parking spaces for 788 vehicles. Construction began on new canopies, walkways and shelters in August 2014 and was completed in early 2015.In spring 2009, a 50 kW wind turbine was constructed at the station and was expected to supply up to 80% of the station's power. Taking advantage of the heavy prevailing winds from the west, the turbine is the first application of on-site wind generation for a North American transit system. However, after four years, the turbine was only producing 9% of its projected output.

CHLO (530 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Brampton, Ontario, serving Greater Toronto. It is owned by Evanov Communications and broadcasts a multilingual format. Most programming is Punjabi with other languages of South Asia. Some Italian, German, Croatian, Tagalog, Bulgarian, and Spanish language shows are heard on weekends. CHLO's radio studios and offices are on Dundas Street West in the Eatonville neighbourhood of Toronto. By day, CHLO transmits with 1,000 watts non-directional; due to restrictions placed on the frequency by international treaty, it reduces power at night to 250 watts. The transmitter is on Sixth Line in Halton Hills. CHLO is one of only a few commercial radio stations in North America broadcasting on 530 AM.

Bishop Paul Francis Reding Secondary School is a coeducational Catholic Secondary School in Milton, Ontario, Canada. The school offers grades nine through twelve and is run by the Halton Catholic District School Board.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School is a Catholic separate school in Mississauga, Ontario. It is part of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board and is affiliated with the parish of St. John of the Cross. The trustee is Brea Corbet and the principal is Jennifer Varnam. The school has approximately 1,750 students. The school also boasts numerous committees and clubs to encourage extra curricular participation amongst the student body such as the Photography club, Drama club or Student Council. Some clubs have special events within the school such as the Health Club; Pro-Life Club participates in the March for Life in Ottawa, Ontario; and the Comic Book Club writes, draws, and publishes their own comic books. The school's Boys Senior Hockey Team were OFSAA Champions in 2002, 2003 and 2006.The Punk rock band Billy Talent was formed by students at the school in 1993, originally under the name Pezz.

Craig Kielburger Secondary School , commonly referred to as C.K is a high school in Milton, Ontario, Canada. The two-storey school features barrier-free accessibility, a triple gym, studio/theatre, food school and technical education facilities and the IB Diploma program. This school replaces E.C. Drury High School which closed in June 2012. The school is named after Craig Kielburger who founded Free the Children. Kielburger visited the school for the grand opening October 9, 2012.

The Meadowvale Town Centre Bus Terminal is the main, inter-regional transit hub for the community of Meadowvale located in northwestern Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is the third-largest terminal served by MiWay, the second-largest in Mississauga after City Centre Transit Terminal. It is situated on the eastern side of Meadowvale Town Centre, which is a community mall. The terminal does not contain a building, partly due to the terminal being located directly beside the mall. Instead, it is composed of a big bus loop with benches and bus shelters surrounding it. MiWay buses lay over in the middle of the bus loop. MiWay tickets and passes can be bought either at Shoppers Drug Mart, which is located within Meadowvale Town Centre; or at the Meadowvale Community Centre, located at the intersection of Glen Erin Drive and Aquitaine Avenue. The nearest GO Transit ticket agency for this terminal is at a branch of Rabba Fine Foods located at the intersection of Derry Road and Glen Erin Drive, just north of the Meadowvale Community Centre.

The Ernest C. Drury School for the Deaf is a provincial school in Milton, Ontario, Canada with residential and day programs serving elementary and secondary deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Along with three (SJW and Robarts School for the Deaf) other provincial schools for the deaf in Ontario, it is operated by the Ministry of Education under Education Act of Ontario section 13 (1).Teachers are both deaf and hearing. Deaf student population is approximately 90 students in the senior school and 100 in the elementary school; total is 190 students. Deaf students from Canada often attend Gallaudet University in Washington D.C., and Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York for post-secondary programs.
