The Meadowvale Town Centre Bus Terminal is the main, inter-regional transit hub for the community of Meadowvale located in northwestern Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is the third-largest terminal served by MiWay, the second-largest in Mississauga after City Centre Transit Terminal. It is situated on the eastern side of Meadowvale Town Centre, which is a community mall. The terminal does not contain a building, partly due to the terminal being located directly beside the mall. Instead, it is composed of a big bus loop with benches and bus shelters surrounding it. MiWay buses lay over in the middle of the bus loop. MiWay tickets and passes can be bought either at Shoppers Drug Mart, which is located within Meadowvale Town Centre; or at the Meadowvale Community Centre, located at the intersection of Glen Erin Drive and Aquitaine Avenue. The nearest GO Transit ticket agency for this terminal is at a branch of Rabba Fine Foods located at the intersection of Derry Road and Glen Erin Drive, just north of the Meadowvale Community Centre.

Meadowvale Community Centre and Library is a library branch under the Mississauga Library System and a community centre located in the Meadowvale neighbourhood of Mississauga, Ontario. The Meadowvale Community Centre was officially opened in January 1982. The original building was 43,500 square feet, including a pool, fitness centre with racquetball and squash courts, meetings rooms (including a large auditorium) and lobby space.In 2014, the community centre was closed for redevelopment by the City of Mississauga. The redevelopment of Meadowvale Community Centre was a priority for the City with an estimated budget of $37 million (CDN). The demolition and rebuilding of the centre were aimed to improve public accessibility, update mechanical systems, enlarge program space and add a therapeutic pool in response to the changing recreational needs of the community. The redevelopment was also an opportunity to incorporate the Meadowvale Library into this expanding facility.The Meadowvale Community Centre and Library were re-opened in September 2016 after 2 years of construction. It is the City of Mississauga's first Community Centre to pursue a LEED certification (silver).

Lisgar GO Station is a railway station on GO Transit's Milton line in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It opened for service on September 4, 2007. The station is located at Argentia Road and Tenth Line, near the interchange of Highway 401, and Highway 407. It is named after the Lisgar neighbourhood in which it is located, which is itself named after Lord Lisgar, second Governor General of Canada from 1869–1872. The station was built to alleviate the congested Meadowvale GO Station, and to provide better service for the local community. The station provides parking spaces for 788 vehicles. Construction began on new canopies, walkways and shelters in August 2014 and was completed in early 2015.In spring 2009, a 50 kW wind turbine was constructed at the station and was expected to supply up to 80% of the station's power. Taking advantage of the heavy prevailing winds from the west, the turbine is the first application of on-site wind generation for a North American transit system. However, after four years, the turbine was only producing 9% of its projected output.

Lisgar is a residential neighbourhood in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the extreme northwestern corner of the city, bordering the larger Meadowvale neighbourhood to the east and Churchill Meadows to the south.

West Credit Secondary School is a high school in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is a workplace or college destination for the Peel District School Board. Its cousin school, Judith Nyman Secondary School is a high school in Brampton, Ontario, Canada that offers similar trades courses. West Credit and Judith Nyman are currently the only two vocational schools in the Peel District School Board and offer students more choices in trades courses than most other Peel high schools. West Credit S.S. is aimed at students who want to pursue a career in the trades, or sometimes it is recommended for those with an Individual Education Plan (IEP) at the vocational 1 and 2 level. Both high schools offer vocational and applied level courses. Students can participate in programs leading to apprenticeship and can work towards their required apprenticeship courses and training upon completing their Ontario Secondary School Diplomas. West Credit also offers an Applied Skilled Trades program and a Doggy Daycare co-op program.

Meadowvale GO Station is a GO Transit railway station on the Milton line in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 6845 Millcreek Drive near Derry Road West and Winston Churchill Blvd., in the City of Mississauga in the community of Meadowvale. As with most GO stations, Meadowvale offers parking for commuters, and ticket sales with an attendant during the morning rush hour. In addition to the trains, Meadowvale is served by train-buses outside the rush hours and in the reverse commute direction, by the Milton–Yorkdale–York Mills GO Bus route, by the Highway 407 express buses to Highway 407 Bus Terminal, and by Mississauga Transit buses. Although ridership on the Milton line has grown beyond GO's expectations, the tracks are already busy with Canadian Pacific Railway freight traffic. While it is possible to increase the number of trains, Canadian Pacific Railway will not allow it unless a third GO Transit dedicated right of way track is built. In order to increase capacity, GO Transit has extended the rail platform to accommodate trains with twelve carriages rather than the current ten. As a temporary solution, extensive train-bus services help alleviate congestion.

Stephen Lewis Secondary School is a high school located in the Churchill Meadows neighbourhood of the city of Mississauga in Ontario, Canada and is a part of the Peel District School Board. It is one of two schools bearing this name. It opened in September 2006. Its feeder schools are Ruth Thompson Middle School and Erin Centre Middle School. The top three school wide councils are the Student Activity Council (SAC), Athletics Council, and Integrated Arts Council (IAC). Other influential clubs include Green Revolution, DECA and MIST. Over 1600 students attend this school.

Founded by Venerable Master Hsing Yun in 1991 and completed in 1997, Fo Guang Shan Temple of Toronto (FGS Toronto) is one of the over 400 Fo Guang Shan Temples worldwide. It was founded with the intention to propagate Humanistic Buddhism to the local community in the Greater Toronto Area, which emphasizes bringing Buddhist teaching into our daily lives and maintaining harmony with the environment, society, each other and within ourselves. The Toronto Buddhist temple branch is located in Mississauga, Ontario, and also operates satellite Dharma centres (Buddha's Light Center) in Markham and Kitchener-Waterloo. The Mississauga facility is approximately 50,000 square feet, and provides many modern functions and services while presenting traditional Chinese temple architecture and style. The building includes a magnificent main shrine, tea house (Water Drop Teahouse), traditional Chan meditation hall, Buddhist cultural museum, library, and bookstore. The Buddha's Light Centres were built to offer members in the eastern portions of the Greater Toronto Area who may not be able to travel to the Mississauga branch.
