Sanpolino (Brescia Metro)

San Polo is a station of the Brescia Metro, in the city of Brescia in northern Italy. The station is centrally located in the populous district of San Polo. Although the station is officially designated as just "San Polo", it is usually referred to as "Cimabue" to distinguish it from the "San Polo Parco" station. With its 20,000 inhabitants San Polo is one of the most densely populated districts of Brescia and most people get to the station by bus, the bus stop is right in front of the stairs, on foot or by bicycle. Because the station primarily serves the neighbourhood and is not a transportation hub there are only about thirty parking spaces along the street. In the immediate vicinity there are two schools to the north and south, and the Church of Saint Angela Merici to the west.

Sant’Eufemia Buffalora is a station of the Brescia Metro, in the city of Brescia in northern Italy. Originally named "Sant'Eufemia", the addition of "Buffalora" more closely reflects the location of the station. As the easterly terminus of the metro line, the station serves not only the nearby towns of Sant'Eufemia della Fonte and Buffalora, but also Rezzato and more distant traffic coming from Montichiari and Gavardo and communities near Lake Garda. For this reason, it is planned to build a large parking-lot near the station.

San Polo Parco is a station of the Brescia Metro, in the city of Brescia in northern Italy.This station is located on the border between the populous district of San Polo and the agricultural area to the north. It can only be reached on foot or by bike and caters primarily to the residential neighbourhood.

Poliambulanza is a station of the Brescia Metro, in the city of Brescia in northern Italy. The station is named after the nearby "Fondazione Poliambulanza Istituto Ospedaliero" hospital. With the opening of a new access road to the city from the south, the station is easily accessible from the Brescia ring road, Autostrada A4 and Autostrada A21. In addition to the existing hospital parking, a new park and ride lot with a capacity of 360 vehicles was added.

Rezzato (Brescian: Rezat) is a comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. It is bounded by the comunes of Brescia, Botticino, Castenedolo, Mazzano and Nuvolera. Thanks to its nearness to the small town of Botticino, Rezzato is commonly considered the town of the marble working. The stonecutters from Rezzato have been famous since the 15th century for their creativity and their artistic way of working with Botticino marble. Rezzato was chosen by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission as the place in which produce some of the headstones for its military cemeteries.

Botticino (Brescian: Butisì) is a town and comune (commune or municipality) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, Italy. The comune was created in 1928 by the union of the former comuni of Botticino Mattina and Botticino Sera, which today, together with San Gallo, are classified as the municipality's three frazioni. Neighbouring communes are Brescia, Nave, Nuvolera, Rezzato and Serle. It lies directly northeast of Brescia. It gave its name to marmo botticino, a valuable sedimentary limestone. Botticino is also a DOC of Lombardian wine.

Castenedolo (Brescian: Castignidol) is a comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. It is bounded by other communes of Montichiari and San Zeno Naviglio. The commune is situated in the plain southeast of Brescia.

Volta is a station of the Brescia Metro, in the city of Brescia in northern Italy.The station is located at the junction between Via Lamarmora, Via Cremona and Via della Volta.

The church of San Gaetano is an ancient church located on Via Calegari at the intersection of Via Monti in Brescia. By the 1600s, it became attached to priests of the order of St. Phillip Neri, under whom it was known as Santa Maria della Purificazione. In 1691, it was acquired by the Theatine order and the named was changed to San Gaetano, the founder of their order. In the late 1800s, the church was transferred to the Franciscan order, with whom it is still associated. The original building was guided by Giovanni Todeschini, while the later baroque reconstruction in by 1663 by Agostino Avanzo. While the exterior is simple and sober, the interior is highly decorated with a profusion of stucco iconography and reliefs by Andrea Colomba and fresco medallions and stories by Grazio Cossali. The Interior contains canvases by Cossali, Alessandro Maganza, and Giovanni Battista Pittoni (Coming of St Andrew of Avellino in first chapel on right). The church contain brilliantly painted frescoes completed in 1745-1759 by Pietro Scalvini (ceiling Assumption of the Virgin), Antonio Paglia, Andrea Nannini, and the Parisian painter Luigi da Vernassal. The present refurbished organ was constructed by members of the Tamburini family. The interior contained a painting of St Ursula and the Virgins (early 17th century) by Antonio Bonardi.
