Taipei First Girls High School (TFG; Chinese: 臺北市立第一女子高級中學; colloquially 北一 or 北一女), is a Taiwanese all-girls senior high school, located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei City. Accepting only the top scorers in the national Comprehensive Assessment Program for Junior High School Students, it is one of the most prestigious high schools in the country. TFG counts among its alumnae esteemed researchers, industry leaders, doctors, writers, and politicians. Its male counterpart is the Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School.

The official residence of the president (Chinese: 總統官邸; pinyin: Zǒngtǒng Guāndǐ; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Chóng-thóng Koaⁿ-tí) is provided by the government of the Republic of China for the President, while in office, along with his or her family. The current official residence is at the intersection of Chongqing South Road Section 2 and Aiguo West Road, Zhongzheng, Taipei, and has been in use since Lee Teng-hui's presidency. Security of the residence is maintained by the Sixth Special Corps of the National Police Agency along with a wall along the perimeter of the complex. The Vice President's official residence is separate from that of the President's. The current official residence is on Renai Road Section 3.

The Monopoly Bureau Building is a Renaissance-style red brick building located in Nan Chang Street, Taipei City, Taiwan. It is in the Zhongzheng District, near Aiguo West Road, Park Road and Nanchang intersection ring, and Taipei's city south gate. It is also located nearby the Republic of China Ministry of Finance and the President of the Republic of China's Official Residence. The building was built in 1913 during the Japanese rule of Taiwan.The building was designed by the architect Matsunosuke Moriyama and constructed in 1913 by the Kobe Group. The six-story tower topped with a spire is the most unusual feature of the building. In addition to a six-story tower, the building is also decorated with a copper roof. The building housed the offices of the Monopoly Bureau of the Taiwan Governor's Office during Japanese rule and the Taiwan Tobacco and Wine Monopoly Bureau under ROC rule. It now houses the headquarters office for the Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation.

The former residence of Chia-kan Yen, in Bo'ai Special Zone, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan, was the official residence of Chia-kan Yen, the fifth president of the Republic of China, and is now a national monument. The former residence of Chia-kan Yen was initially the official residence of the vice president of the Bank of Taiwan during the Japanese colonial period, with a total area of 843.73 ping (2788m2). The building's main body is a Western-style two-story building with a prominent steeple on the roof. The building area is more than 200 ping (660m2). An additional Japanese-style wooden house was built in 1920. The wall surrounding the building collapsed by 20 meters in the 1963 Su-ao earthquake. The garden trees were planted during the Japanese colonial period. Most of these trees are native Taiwanese species such as ring-cupped oak, subcostate crape myrtle, banyan trees, and liquidambar. There are also three green maples of large diameter. The Western-style cement walls are topped with East Asian-style brick eaves. The building's interior is also decorated in Western style with East Asian-style beams. The first floor of the building includes a reception room, a large dining room, and a Japanese-style wing. The second floor consists of a study, bedroom, and living room.Chia-kan Yen took over this residence from the Japanese government in 1945 when he was a member of the National Government's Taiwan Taking-over Committee. He became the chairman of the Bank of Taiwan the following year and moved there. When Yen was elected vice president, the Office of the President bought the residence from the Bank of Taiwan in lieu of his presence.On July 17, 2001, the National Historic Site Inspection Committee of the Ministry of the Interior approved what it termed Mr. Chia-kan Yen’s Former Residence as a National Historic Site.

The Taxation Administration (DOT; traditional Chinese: 財政部賦稅署; simplified Chinese: 财政部赋税署; pinyin: Cáizhèngbù Fùshuìshǔ) is the agency of the Ministry of Finance of Taiwan (ROC) responsible for tax collections in Taiwan.

The National Treasury Administration (NTA; traditional Chinese: 財政部國庫署; simplified Chinese: 财政部国库署; pinyin: Cáizhèngbù Guókùshǔ) is the agency of the Ministry of Finance of Taiwan (ROC) in charge of relevant matters in the revenues, expenditures and management of the Treasury as well as responsible for the management of government debt, fiscal planning, public welfare lottery, and the management of public-owned enterprises.

The Judicial Yuan (Chinese: 司法院; pinyin: Sīfǎ Yuàn; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Su-hoat Īⁿ) is the judicial branch of the Taiwanese government. It runs a Constitutional Court and oversees all systems of courts of Taiwan, including ordinary courts like the supreme court, high courts, district courts as well as special courts like administrative courts and disciplinary courts. By Taiwanese law, the Judicial Yuan holds the following powers: Interpretation – Constitutional Court interprets the Constitution and other statutes and regulations by either the central government or local governments. Adjudicate – Most civil, criminal, and administrative cases are adjudicated by the respective courts supervised by the Judicial Yuan. The Constitutional Court adjudicate Presidential impeachment and political party dissolution cases. Discipline – Disciplinary measures with respect to public functionaries are adjudicated by the Disciplinary court. Judicial Administration – The Judicial Yuan supervises all courts established by Taiwanese law.According to the current Constitution, the Constitutional Court comprises 15 justices. One justice acts as the President of the court, and another acts as the Vice President. All justices, including the President and Vice President, are appointed by the President of the Republic with the consent of the Legislative Yuan. Upon appointment justices have a term limit of eight years, but this term limit does not apply to the President and Vice President.

The Judicial Building (Chinese: 司法大廈; pinyin: Sīfǎ Dàxià; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Su-hoat Tāi-hā) is a governmental building in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. It houses several judicial agencies of Taiwan, including Judicial Yuan — the judiciary and constitutional court of the government of the Republic of China on Taiwan, Taiwan High Court, Taiwan High Prosecutors Office, and Disciplinary Sanction Court.

The Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT; traditional Chinese: 經濟部國際貿易局; simplified Chinese: 经济部国际贸易局; pinyin: Jīngjìbù Guójì Màoyìjú) is the administrative agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) of Taiwan (ROC).

The National Central Library (NCL; Chinese: 國家圖書館; pinyin: Guójiā Túshūguǎn) is the national library of the Republic of China (Taiwan), which is located at No. 20, Zhongshan S. Rd., Zhongzheng District, Taipei City 10001, Taiwan. It will soon have a subsidiary called Southern Branch of the National Central Library & National Repository Library.

The Taipei Metro Xiaonanmen station (formerly transliterated as Hsiao Nanmen Station until 2003) is an underground station on the Xiaonanmen Line located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan.
