Hawkridge Reservoir is a reservoir near Spaxton, Somerset, England. The inflow is from several streams in the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty including Peart Water, which continues below the reservoir in a northeast direction to Spaxton, where it enters the Ashford Reservoir. The distance between the two reservoirs is about 2 miles (3.2 km). The Hawkridge Reservoir was built between 1960 and 1962, to provide drinking water for Bridgwater which is 7 miles (11 km) to the east. It has an area of 32 acres (13 ha) and can hold up to 864 million litres of water. The 161 metres (528 ft) long dam is 24 metres (79 ft) wide and 27 metres (89 ft) high. 30,000 cubic meters of concrete was used in its construction.Since opening the reservoir has become home to a range of animals including; invertebrates, wildfowl and amphibians. It is used for angling with catches including Rainbow Trout.

The Seven Sisters is a clump of beech trees on Cothelstone Hill in the Quantock Hills, England. Originally planted in the 18th century, they form a well-known and prominent landmark visible from large areas of Somerset and South Wales. The hill is currently leased to the South West Heritage Trust by its owner Somerset County Council, and managed by the Quantock Hills AONB Service under a Higher Level Stewardship Scheme. Three large trees remain from the original planting, while recently planted replacements grow nearby.

Cothelstone Manor in Cothelstone, Somerset, England was built in the mid-16th century, largely demolished by the parliamentary troops in 1646 and rebuilt by E.J. Esdaile in 1855–56.It is closely associated with the Church of St Thomas of Canterbury, which is a Grade I listed building, and contains memorials to many of the owners of Cothelstone Manor including: Sir Matthew de Stawell, died 1379, and his wife Elizabeth, and John Stawell, died 1603. The Stawell family lived at Cothelstone from 1066 until 1791.

The village has a wide variety of properties, with a wide range of building techniques and ages. Due to its availability, local red sandstone features heavily in buildings, both ancient and modern. The village has a 16th-century inn (the Rising Sun), a village hall, and a number of establishments offering accommodation.

Bagborough House in West Bagborough, Somerset, England was built circa 1730. It was designated a Grade II* listed building on 4 May 1984.Bagborough House was built in 1739 by the Popham family, next to St Pancras Church. The saloon has decoration in the style of William Kent which dates from the original construction. The south front which has five Ionic columns, overlooks a landscaped park.The house was enlarged in 1820 when the stable block was built. Further enlargement took place in 1900. There is also a listed sundial, and walled kitchen garden.It has been the venue for various social events including the Hunt Ball of the Devon and Somerset Staghounds. It was used as one of the locations for the filming of the film Pandaemonium, which was largely shot in the surrounding Quantock Hills.The house is now lived in by Diana and Philip Brooke-Popham, and used as a wedding venue.

Broomfield Camp (which is also known as Higher Castles enclosure) is a univallate Iron Age hill fort in the Taunton Deane district of Somerset, England. The hill fort is situated approximately 0.6 miles (0.97 km) south-east from the village of Broomfield. Broomfield Camp dates from late prehistoric or Roman times. The camp was searched in 1968 and the result uncovered a trench through a bank and ditch which produced Iron Age pottery.

Tetton is an historic estate in the parish of Kingston St Mary in the English county of Somerset. The present grade II* listed Tetton House dates from 1790 and was enlarged and mainly rebuilt in 1924–6 by Hon. Mervyn Herbert (1882–1929) to the design of the architect Harry Stuart Goodhart-Rendel.
