The Marine Corps Individual Reserve Support Activity (MCIRSA) is a subordinate unit within Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) that provides support for all Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) and Mobilized Training Unit Marine reservists. It falls under the Force Headquarters Group.

The plant produces non-nuclear mechanical, electronic, and engineered material components for U.S. national defense systems such as high-energy laser ignition systems, microwave hybrid microcircuit production, and miniature electromechanical devices. It also provides technical services such as metallurgical/mechanical analysis, analytical chemistry, environmental testing, nondestructive testing, computer-based training, simulations and analysis, and technical certification.

The Belton, Grandview and Kansas City Railroad (SHRX) is short line passenger railroad and museum located in Belton, Missouri. It operates as a heritage railroad, on what was once the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway, on the Kansas City to Springfield branch. With the merger of the Frisco with the Burlington Northern, the line was partially sold to Kansas City Southern North of 155th Street, The north of the line is used once a year when tree trimming/weed spraying takes place, The tracks are bad but still can be used, The bridge is still there past Markey Road but with missing ties, With the southernmost portion from Peculiar, MO. to Clinton, MO. being scrapped and abandoned. This left the remaining trackage of a few miles connecting Grandview and Belton, Missouri. It currently operates a 1952 GM GP 9 locomotive, which is used to pull an excursion train. Also included in the collection are various locomotives, cars and equipment.

It incorporated on September 3, 2003.The village of Loch Lloyd is built around a 110-acre lake on Mill Creek (a tributary of the Blue River) and the original golf course designed by Donald Sechrest and the newly designed Tom Watson Signature Design golf course which opened in 2012. Loch Lloyd derives its name from the original real estate developer Harry J. Lloyd, who died in 1997. In 2002, the development at Loch Lloyd and The Country Club at Loch Lloyd were acquired by FiveStar Lifestyles. This company has built over 200 homes at an average price of $850,000. The original golf course was designed by Donald Sechrest and opened in 1991. The Country Club at Loch Lloyd hosted a Senior PGA Tour tournament from 1991-1998.
