Galaxy is a shopping centre in the city of Szczecin, Poland, that is located at 18-20 Wyzwolenia Avenue near the intersection of Wyzwolenia Avenue and Malczewskiego Street, and near the Pazim building. It is owned by Echo Investment and was opened in 2003.

Pazim is the second tallest building in Szczecin, Poland, after the St. James Cathedral, if including Pazim's spire. It contains twenty-three floors and is 92 meters tall. The building was designed by Milijenko Dumencić. It is the headquarters of Polsteam, with its name originating from company's alternative name abbreviation, PŻM.

Monument of Sailor is a monument in Szczecin, Poland at the Grunwald Square at the John Paul II Avenue. It was designed by Ryszard Chachulski and completed on 19 June 1980.

Szczecin (UK: SHCHETCH-in, US: -⁠een, Polish: [ˈʂt͡ʂɛt͡ɕin] (listen); German: Stettin [ʃtɛˈtiːn] (listen); Swedish: Stettin [stɛˈtiːn]; Latin: Sedinum or Stetinum) is the capital and largest city of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in northwestern Poland. Szczecin is the administrative and industrial centre of West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is the site of the University of Szczecin, Pomeranian Medical University, Maritime University, West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin Art Academy, and the see of the Szczecin-Kamień Catholic Archdiocese. The city's historical landmarks include the Szczecin Cathedral, the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle and the National Museum. From 1999 onwards, Szczecin has served as the site of the headquarters of NATO's Multinational Corps Northeast. The city was a candidate for the European Capital of Culture in 2016.

The Province of Pomerania was a province of Brandenburg-Prussia, the later Kingdom of Prussia. After the Thirty Years' War, the province consisted of Farther Pomerania. Subsequently, the Lauenburg and Bütow Land, Draheim, and Swedish Pomerania south of the Peene river were joined into the province. The province was succeeded by the Province of Pomerania set up in 1815. The name Pomerania comes from Slavic po more, which means "Land at the Sea".

The Aviators Square, until 1945 know as the Augusta Square, is an urban square in Szczecin, Poland. It is located in the neighbourhood of Centrum, within the Downtown district, at the intersection of Pope John Paul II Avenue, Jagiellońska Street, Kaszubska Street, Małopolska Street, and Mazurska Street. It was opened in the 1890s.

The Treaty of Stettin was concluded on 28 April 1715, during the Great Northern War, in the Prussian camp at Stettin (now Szczecin) between Hanover and Prussia. The treaty allied George I of Great Britain, as Elector of Hanover, with the Kingdom of Prussia against the Swedish Empire. In the years following the establishment of this treaty, Sweden was forced out of it holdings south of the Baltic Sea, ultimately leading to Sweden's defeat in 1721, at the conclusion of the Great Northern War.

Niebuszewo-Bolinko is a municipal neighbourhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland, in Śródmieście (Centre) District, north of the Szczecin Old Town. As of January 2011, it had a population of 22,403.

The Paweł Adamowicz Square is an urban square in Szczecin, Poland, in the neighbourhood of Centrum, within the Downtown district, between Pope John Paul II Avenue, Independence Avenue, and Aviators Square. It was opened in 2019.

The William I Monument was a monument in Szczecin, Poland, in form of an equestrian statue of William I, emperor of Germany from 1871 to 1888. It was designed by sculptor Karl Hilgers, and unvailed on 1 November 1894 at the King Square (now Polish Soldier Square). The monument dismantled on 31 July 1945.

The Szczecin Meeting Point, also colloquially known as the Glass Trap, and the Aquarium, is a pavilion in Szczecin, Poland, placed at the northern entrance to the Polish Soldier Square. It has a form of a small one-storey-tall cuboid, with structure made out of a weathering steel, façade covered in glass panels, and most of its usable area located underground. It was completed in 2012, and currently houses a visitor centre.
