Dresden English Football Club

Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion is a football stadium in Dresden, Saxony. It is named after German athlete Rudolf Harbig, and is the current home of Dynamo Dresden. Sports facilities have existed on the site of the stadium, the Güntzwiesen, since 1874. On 10 September 1911 the stadium hosted an international friendly match between Germany and Austria, which ended in a 1:2 defeat of host team Germany. The stadium also hosts events other than soccer games and has hosted several home games of the Dresden Monarchs American Football team of the German Football League, including their lone home appearance in the BIG6 European Football League in 2014.

The German Hygiene Museum (German: Deutsches Hygiene-Museum) is a medical museum in Dresden, Germany. It conceives itself today as a "forum for science, culture and society". It is a popular venue for events and exhibitions, and is among the most visited museums in Dresden, with around 280,000 visitors per year.

The Dresden park railway (German: Dresdner Parkeisenbahn) is a 381 mm (15 in) minimum gauge railway in Dresden, Germany. The line opened in 1950 and was previously known as the Kindereisenbahn and the Pioniereisenbahn. As these names suggest, the line is largely operated by children, and is a survivor of the many children's railways that were built in the former Eastern Bloc countries. The railway operates within the Großer Garten, a large city centre park.

Dresden Zoo or Zoo Dresden, is a zoo situated in the city of Dresden, Germany. It was opened in 1861, making it Germany's fourth oldest zoo. It was originally designed by Peter Joseph Lenné.The zoo is located on the southern edge of the Großer Garten (Great Garden), a large city centre park. The zoo houses about 3000 animals of almost 400 species, especially Asian animals. It is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) and the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA). The zoo is served on its southern side by tram lines 9 and 13 of the Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe, the local municipal transport company. On its northern side is the Zoo station of the Dresdner Parkeisenbahn, a minimum gauge railway through the Großer Garten that is largely operated by children.

All Saints Church (Allerheiligenkirche) was an Anglican church on Wiener Straße in Dresden. It was in the Early English Period of Neo-Gothic architecture.

The Transparent Factory is a car factory and exhibition space in Dresden, Germany owned by German carmaker Volkswagen and designed by architect Gunter Henn. It originally opened in 2002, producing the Volkswagen Phaeton until 2016. As of 2017 it produces the electric version of the Golf.

The Pirnaischer Platz is a square in Dresden, Germany. It is the site of the city's Landhaus.

The Kaiserpalast was a five-storey neo-Baroque building in Dresden, which stood on the north side of the Pirnaischer Platz between Moritzring and Amalienstraße. It was built between 1895 and 1897 as the Geschäftshaus Ilgen by the architects Schilling und Graebner for the businessman Hermann Ilgen. It had one tower and on its gable were statues by Hans Hartmann-MacLean. Its porch had a huge window designed by Josef Goller. The ground and first floors were faced with sandstone and the other floors' facades were plastered. It housed a restaurant and a bank. It was destroyed in February 1945 during the bombing of Dresden and the remaining ruins were demolished in 1951.

The Ehrlichsches Gestift was a historicist church building in Dresden. It was built in 1907 on Stübelplatz to replace the Ehrlichsches Gestift's older church (Lazarettkirche) on Wettiner Platz, which had been demolished in 1897 to build the new Jakobikirche. It survived the Second World War but was demolished in August 1951.

The New Town Hall in Dresden is the seat of Dresden's city administration. It is located south-east of the Altmarkt on Dr.-Külz-Ring. The town hall tower is 100.3 meters high or 329 feet (with figure, including lightning rod), a viewing platform, which is currently not open to the public, is 68 meters above the ground. The town hall clock has a diameter of four meters. The Golden Town Hall Man on the tower is 5.05 meters high from the base to the crown. There are 16 larger-than-life sandstone statues at the height of the viewing platform. The partially restored statues represent 16 virtues (counter-clockwise starting in the north): Love, Hope, Mercy, Piety, Faith, Loyalty, Courage, Perseverance, Strength, Sacrifice, Wisdom, Kindness, Justice, Truth, Vigilance and Prudence.

The Landhaus is a historic building in Dresden, Germany. Designed to house the Saxony region's Landstand, it was built in the Baroque style between 1770 and 1776 by Friedrich August Krubsacius on the site of the former Palais Flemming-Sulkowski. In September 1775 the Obersteuerkollegium moved into it and in October the Landstand first sat there. It now houses the Dresden City Museum and the Dresden City Art Gallery.

Dresden City Museum (Stadtmuseum Dresden) is the central city museum for the German city of Dresden. Its displays tell the 800-year story of the city and is the largest and most important of the Dresden State Museums (Städtischen Museen Dresden). Its art collections split off in 2000 to form the Dresden City Art Gallery, but both the Art Gallery and the Museum are housed in Dresden's Landhaus.
