The Andrew J. Stevens House is a single-family home located at 4024 Oakland Drive in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is one of the few examples of an L-plan, Greek Revival farmhouse that still exists in Kalamazoo.

Robert and Rae Levin House, also Robert Levin House and Robert Levin Residence, is a single-family home in Kalamazoo, Michigan and designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. In 1949, Robert and Rae Levin worked with Frank Lloyd Wright to build a house, the first one to be constructed in Parkwyn Village, a planned community of Usonian houses. Usonia is a word used by Frank Lloyd Wright and refers to the residents of the United States Of North America. Those houses were meant for the common man at that time. The finished house was constructed of textile blocks (patterned blocks made by pouring concrete into a mold), big windows and skylights, built-in furniture, and a mix of shallow and grand sloping ceilings. Wright designed the house to be connected closely to nature.

Parkwyn Village is a planned community of Usonian houses located along Winchell and Lorraine Avenues and Parkwyn and Taliesin Drives, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022. Four houses in the community were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright: The Robert and Rae Levin House, the Eric and Margaret Ann (Davis) Brown House, the Ward McCartney House, and the Robert D. Winn House.

The Eric and Margaret Ann (Davis) Brown House is a single-family home located at 2806 Taliesin Drive in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. It is perhaps one of the best preserved Usonian houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

The Western Michigan University Soccer Complex is a soccer-specific stadium located in Kalamazoo, Michigan on the campus of Western Michigan University. Originally known as Lee Baker Field, the complex is adjacent to WMU's Business, Technology & Research Park and the Engineering College campus, and is home to both the Western Michigan Broncos men's and women's soccer teams. The stands seat about 500, and there is standing room along the fencelines, particularly on the north and west sides. The stadium opened in 2005. The first upgrades were in 2012, when the field was fenced and team shelters were added. A paved parking lot, a formal entry and walkways, and a press box were added in 2013. New bleacher seating was installed in 2015,The grass turf of the playing field received a major overhaul of during the summer of 2017 with removal of the top layer of soil by fraze mowing, laser-guided grading, and a new drainage system. At the same time, a new scoreboard was installed along with new fencing, a new flagpole, and new nets behind the goals.In addition to the stadium, the complex includes a full-sized practice field, electronic scoreboard and sound system, covered bench shelters, and a concession stand with a storage shed.

The John Gibbs House was built in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1853. The house is located on the south side of Parkview Avenue next to Western Michigan University's Business Technology and Research Park in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Crossroads is a shopping mall located in Portage, Michigan. The mall features 100 stores and a food court. The anchor stores are JCPenney and Macy's. There are 2 vacant anchor stores that were once Sears and Burlington (previously Mervyn's). The Crossroads Mall had been owned by Brookfield Properties (and predecessor General Growth Properties) from 1999 until its sale to Kohan Retail Investment Group in January 2022.

Harry W. Lawson Ice Arena and Gabel Natatorium is a 3,667-seat multi-purpose arena, and adjacent natatorium in Kalamazoo, Michigan, located on the far Southwest corner of Western Michigan University's main campus. The arena is a single-level, horseshoe-style arena with a concourse at the top. It is home to the Western Michigan Broncos men's ice hockey team, the WMU men's ice hockey club team, and the WMU synchronized skating club team. The arena is named after Harry W. Lawson, the founder of the hockey program at Western Michigan University. The Gabel Natatorium contains an olympic size swimming pool, diving facility, and is home to the WMU Swimming and Diving Club team. From 1992 to 1994, while University Arena was being renovated, the basketball teams also called Lawson home.

Kalamazoo Public Schools is a school district headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Graduates of the district are eligible to receive scholarships through the Kalamazoo Promise, a program launched in 2005 and funded by anonymous donors. The district operates 31 schools. The district includes the majority of Kalamazoo, all of Westwood, and most of Eastwood. It also includes sections of the following townships: Comstock, Kalamazoo, Oshtemo, and Texas.
