Douglas Park railway station

Douglas Park is a town of the Macarthur Region of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia in the Wollondilly Shire. It is near the Hume Highway, the F5 Freeway and on the Main Southern railway line. Its station is served by NSW TrainLink's Southern Highlands Line. It is about 76 km southwest of the Sydney CBD. In 2016, Douglas Park had a population of 1,362.

The Western Sydney Dry Rainforest and Moist Woodland is a dry rainforest found in small pockets in south-western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Mostly featuring sclerophyll vegetation, it is listed as critically endangered under Australia's national environment law, the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) as more than 70 per cent of its original extent has been reduced as a result of clearing, logging, weed invasion and heavy grazing.

Razorback is a locality and scattered village in the Macarthur Region of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia, in the Wollondilly Shire. At the 2021 census, the locality had a population of 1,174. It is in between the main Macarthur towns of Picton (to the south) and Camden (to the north). It is commonly referred to as Razorback Range as it is part range of high steep hills that make up the Macarthur Region. Furthermore, like most of the Wollondilly it is part of the hills that are in between the Blue Mountains and Southern Highlands regions. At the top of Razorback contains a lookout which offers panoramic views of the Campbelltown-Camden urban district as well as the metropolitan Sydney as a whole.

Bingara Gorge is part of Wilton in the Macarthur Region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, in the Wollondilly Shire. The locality is a Country Club style development by Delfin. According to Delfin, Bingara Gorge covers an area 450 hectares which will allow around 1,165 dwellings and home to a population of 3,500 residents. As of July, 2022, Bingara Gorge contains facilities for residents use only. The facilities include a gym, a golf shop, 2 tennis courts, a play area and 3 pools, all wrapped around by an 18-hole Graham Marsh designed golf course. A country club will also be built in the near future. The development is said to be completed by 2024.Bingara Gorge also has a town centre, which contains a small supermarket, Chinese restaurant, bakery, pharmacy & medical centre, nail salon, and liquor store. Bingara Gorge also has a primary school and childcare centre. In May 2021, Metro Property Development acquired Bingara Gorge from Lendlease for $220 million. It is located adjacent to the Hume Highway.

Menangle railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the Main South line in the south-western Sydney settlement of Menangle in the Wollondilly Shire local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It is also known as Menangle Railway Station group. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. The station opened on 1 July 1863.

The Nepean River railway bridge is a heritage-listed railway bridge that carries the Main Southern railway line across Menangle Road and the Nepean River located at the outer south-western Sydney settlement of Menangle in the Wollondilly Shire local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by John Whitton as the Engineer-in-Chief, of the New South Wales Government Railways and NSW Department of Public Works. The railway bridge was built in 1863 by Messers Peto, Brassey and Betts. It is also known as Menangle rail bridge over Nepean River and Menangle Railway Bridge. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Macarthur is a region in the Outer South-West part of the Greater Sydney area, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The region includes the local government areas of the City of Campbelltown, the Camden Council and the Wollondilly Shire. It covers an area of 3,067 square kilometres and has a population of close to 310,000 residents. The region is bounded at the north by Glenfield; at the south by Yanderra; at the east by the town of Appin; and at the west by the hamlet Nattai. Most of the population lives within the satellite city of Campbelltown and its surrounding suburbs. The Camden Park Estate incorporating the Belgenny Farm is a heritage-listed large working historical farm located at Elizabeth Macarthur Avenue, in the south-western Sydney suburb of Camden South in the Camden Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Henry Kitchen in c. 1800, John Verge in c. 1835 and A. J. Onslow in c. 1888 and built from 1819 to 1840 by John Macarthur in c. 1800, James English and Sons in c. 1888 and John Sulman c. 1895. The property is owned by Belgenny Farm Trust and Camden Park Preservation Committee. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 22 December 2006. Today, part of the original estate contains the Elizabeth Macarthur Agricultural Institute; having originally served as a commercial sheep station and horticultural farm for the Macarthur family since the early 1800s.
