Sheboygan County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is named after the Sheboygan River. As of the 2020 census, the population was 118,034. Its county seat is Sheboygan. The county was created in 1836 and organized in 1846. At the time, it was located in the Wisconsin Territory. Sheboygan County comprises the Sheboygan, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area. Part of the Holyland region is located in northwestern Sheboygan County.

Edgewater Generating Station is a 380 megawatt (MW) coal power plant located on the south side of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, on the shore of Lake Michigan, whose waters are used to provide cooling. It provides electricity for customers in the northeastern part of Alliant Energy's Wisconsin Power & Light service area and service to several local municipal utilities. In 2009, it was the seventh largest generating station in Wisconsin, with a net summer capacity of 767 MW.

The Sheboygan Indian Mound Park is a public park in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Its main attraction is 18 Indian burial mounds distributed over 15 acres. The Kletzien Mound Group, located within the park, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. While the park is operated by the City of Sheboygan, it is surrounded by the Town of Wilson in a residential neighborhood. The park is protected under the Wisconsin Burial Sites Preservation Law. In 1967 Julilly House Kohler organized and led a campaign to preserve the historic Indian mounds which resulted in the site being designated as a county park. In 1968 Kohler was the registered agent for the incorporation of the Sheboygan Indian Mound Park Association, Inc.

Kohler-Andrae State Park comprises two adjacent Wisconsin state parks located in the Town of Wilson, a few miles south of the city of Sheboygan. They are managed as one unit. Terry Andrae State Park, established in 1927, and John Michael Kohler State Park, established in 1966, total 988 acres (4.00 km2). The parks contain over two miles (3 km) of beaches and sand dunes along the shore of Lake Michigan, with woods and wetlands away from the water. The Black River flows through the parks. The park protects threatened plants.

Sheboygan Christian School is a state and nationally accredited, independent, 3K-12th grade Christian School. Each day SCS serves more than 500 students from over 300 families residing in Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Calumet counties. SCS families represent over 50 different churches. Sheboygan South High School is a public coeducational high school serving approximately 1,335 students in grades 9-12. Located on the south side of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, it is part of the Sheboygan Area School District. The school has a rivalry with the cross-town Sheboygan North High School.

Blue Harbor Resort and Spa is a resort, water park and conference center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The resort opened in June 2004 after being built by Great Wolf Resorts.

The Sheboygan River is a river flowing to Lake Michigan in eastern Wisconsin in the United States. It is about 81 mi (130 km) long and enters the lake at the city of Sheboygan. The name of the river is Chippewa in origin, Shawb-wa-way-gun, meaning 'hollow bone', 'noise underground' or 'river disappearing underground'.

The Third Ward School (now known as Heritage School) was a two-room primary and intermediate grade school in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Adult and children visitors can learn about the rules and curriculum of the 1800s and 1900s. Also located in the schoolhouse is an educational museum that features a variety of exhibits, artifacts and school memorabilia. The second Longfellow Elementary School, built in 1994 and itself replacing an 1890 building one block south, is adjacent to the building and helps to accent the changes in education that have taken place over the years.

Sheboygan Municipal Auditorium and Armory (commonly known as the Sheboygan Armory) was a 52,000 sq. ft indoor arena located on the lakefront in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It was built in Streamline Moderne style in 1941 as a Works Progress Administration project. The building seated 3,974 with permanent balcony seating and bleacher seating on the floor level. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019. It was razed in 2020.

George D. Warriner High School for Personalized Learning is a public high school in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Established in 2007, the school serves students in grades 9-12 and is part of the Sheboygan Area School District.

The Sheboygan County Courthouse is a six-story courthouse for Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, located in central Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
