Caoya (Chinese: 草衙) is a village in the southern of Cianjhen District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The name "Caoya", which originally means a draft government building of Zheng Chenggong in Ming dynasty, now consists of more than 12,000 people. Caoya is also the nearest town to one of the largest fish-market (Qianzhen Harbor).

Siaogang District (Chinese: 小港區; Hanyu Pinyin: Xiǎogǎng Qū; Tongyong Pinyin: Siǎogǎng Cyu; Wade–Giles: Hsiao3-kang3 Ch'ü1; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Sió-káng-khu lit: Small port District) is a district of Kaohsiung City in southern Taiwan. Before the merging of Kaohsiung City and Kaohsiung County in 2010, Siaogang was the southernmost district in Kaohsiung City. The second largest airport in Taiwan, Kaohsiung International Airport, is located in Siaogang.

As a comprehensive university, OUK offers academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including business, tourism, engineering, technology, marine science, and design. OUK also offers flexible and innovative learning options through its distance education and continuing education programs.

The Linhai Industrial Park (Chinese: 臨海工業區; pinyin: Línhǎi Gōngyè Qū) is an industrial park located in Siaogang District and Cianjhen District of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It near the Kaohsiung International Airport, No. 5 Container Center of Port of Kaohsiung and the terminal of National Highway No. 1. The Talin Power Plant, a fossil fuel power plant, is located near the park. And a reservoir called Fengshan Reservoir is to the south of park. Linhai Industrial Park is a major cluster of heavy industry in Taiwan. There are several of the largest producers in their industries situated in this industrial park, such as China Steel (steelmaker), CSBC Corporation (ship builder) and CPC Corporation (oil refiner). Furthermore, Linhai Industrial Park also has some manufacturers of machinery, steel, transportation and chemical industry.

Cijin District (Chinese: 旗津區; Hanyu Pinyin: Qíjīn Qū; Tongyong Pinyin: Cíjin Cyu; Wade–Giles: Chʻi²-chin¹ Chʻü¹; Hokkien POJ: Kî-tin-khu) is a district of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, covering Cijin Island (旗津島) and islands in the South China Sea. It is the second smallest district in Kaohsiung City after Yancheng District, with an area of 1.4639 square kilometers, or 0.5652 square miles. It has a population of 26,282 as of October 2023, making it the 26th most populated district in Kaohsiung, with a population density of 18,414 people per square kilometer, or 47,692 people per square mile.
