Teversall Manor railway station

Teversal Football Club are a semi-professional football club based in Teversal, near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England. Teversal will rejoin the Central Midlands League for the 2022-23 season following relegation from the Northern Counties East League Division One.

Teversal Manor is a small Grade II listed 17th-century country house in Teversal, Nottinghamshire, some 5 km (3 miles) west of Mansfield. The building is constructed of coursed and dressed rubble stone with ashlar dressings and slate roofs. It is built in two storeys with attics with an irregular 7 bay frontage.

Teversal is a village and former civil parish, now in the unparished area of Sutton in Ashfield, in the Ashfield district of Nottinghamshire, England, 3 miles (5 km) west of Mansfield, close to Sutton-in-Ashfield and the boundary with Derbyshire. Former names include Tevershalt, Teversholt, Tyversholtee, Teversale, Tevershall and Teversall. In 1931 the parish had a population of 946.

It is an active Church of England parish church in the deanery of Newstead, the Archdeaconry of Newark, and the Southwell and Nottingham diocese. Its benefice has three churches, St Andrew's Church, Skegby, All Saints' Church, Stanton Hill and St Katherine's itself. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.The church was built in the 12th and 13th centuries and has an unrestored 17th and 18th century interior. The Molyneux pew is in the south aisle and has a roof supported by barley-sugar columns.

The church is not a listed building, however, Stanton Hill War Memorial, in front of the Church is Grade II listed by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport as it is of special architectural or historic interest.

Silverhill is an artificial hill near Teversal in Nottinghamshire, and is one of the highest points in the county at 204.3 metres (670 ft). Originally it was a mine spoil heap on the site of the former Silverhill colliery which closed in the 1990s. It was subsequently landscaped in 2005 by Nottinghamshire County Council, with tree planting, numerous footpaths, and a viewpoint. It is now known as Silverhill Woods, and is one of a number of recreation sites in the area. These are linked together by multi-user trails, many of which incorporate the track beds of disused railway lines which once served the various local collieries.

Brierley Forest Park, Sutton in Ashfield was designated a Local Nature Reserve in 2006. It contains Calcareous grassland, sown grassland, wildflower meadows with hoary ragwort, yellow-wort, wild carrot and lesser trefoil. There are four wetland feature areas, Brierley Waters, a reed swamp, Rooley Brook and the visitor centre pond. There are species rich hedgerows, woodland and semi natural vegetation.

Skegby is a village and former civil parish, now in the unparished area of Sutton in Ashfield, in the Ashfield district of Nottinghamshire, England, located two miles west of Mansfield and one mile north of Sutton-in-Ashfield, close to Stanton Hill lying on the B6014 road. Skegby sits on both sides of a deep valley near the source of the River Meden. The parish covered about 1,433 acres and used to include the then hamlet of Stanton Hill. In 1931 the parish had a population of 6519.

Sutton Town A.F.C. was a football club based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, England. The previous club was a member of the Northern Counties East League Premier Division until 2007 when they resigned, but the new club joined the Central Midlands League Premier Division, three levels lower in the English football league system, and later played in the East Midlands Counties League. The team was reformed in 2020, and was initially accepted into the Notts Senior league, but they never started the seasons fixtures. They then began playing friendlies in Spring 2021 ahead of again joining the Notts Senior League. They played against Nottinghamshire, Nuthall AFC, Trent Vineyard and Rushcliffe Reserves although the results were not made public.
