Letenice (pronounced [lɛˈteːnitsɛ]) is a small village north of Kranj in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It includes the hamlets of Zavoda and Kamnjek.

It is a contiguous wooded area clearly delineated from its surroundings. The woods is dominated by Scots pine, and deciduous trees include sessile oak, hornbeam, and beech. It has natural value in terms of its botanical features, terrain, and geomorphology. It was given the status of a protected landscape area in 1985.

Its location, good humidity conditions, and high number of sunny days per year have contributed to it becoming a leading health care centre in the region. A 16th-century castle is part of the hospital complex and it is surrounded by a park designed by the architect Ivan Vurnik.

Senično (pronounced [sɛˈniːtʃnɔ]; in older sources also Stenično, German: Stenitschno) is a village in the Municipality of Tržič in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. The local church is dedicated to Saint Bartholomew and dates from the 14th century with well-preserved late 15th-century frescos on the walls and ceiling of the sanctuary. The church lies inside a walled enclosure with a portal dated 1738.
