Swallow Rock (simplified Chinese: 燕子矶; traditional Chinese: 燕子磯; pinyin: Yànzi Jī) is a small scenic area in the northwest part of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China which is one of the 48 scenic areas in Nanjing. Standing at 36 metres in the Yangtze River, the Swallow Rock is shaped like a flying swallow and is also one of three famous rocks in Nanjing. Li Bai is thought to have visited and written a poem about Swallow Rock.Swallow Rock is also of minor historical interest for several unrelated events. In the Qing dynasty, when the Qianlong Emperor went on an inspection tour in the Jiangnan region, he passed Swallow Rock and left a poem here and that is now displayed on the rocks. A pavilion with a stone tablet in it stands on the top of the rock. A small monument marks this as one of the sites where the citizens of Nanjing were slaughtered by the Japanese during the Nanjing Massacre in 1937–38.A station on the Nanjing Metro is named after Swallow Rock.

Maigaoqiao station (simplified Chinese: 迈皋桥站; traditional Chinese: 邁皋橋站; pinyin: Màigāoqiáo Zhàn; lit. 'Maigao-Bridge station'), located in the city of Nanjing, is an aboveground station of Line 1 of the Nanjing Metro, and is the current northern terminus of the line. It started operations on 3 September 2005 as part of the line's Phase I from this station to Andemen.

Hongshan Zoo station (simplified Chinese: 红山动物园站; traditional Chinese: 紅山動物園站; pinyin: Hóngshān Dòngwùyuán Zhàn; lit. 'red hill zoo station'), is a station of Line 1 of the Nanjing Metro. It started operations on 3 September 2005 as part of the line's Phase I from Maigaoqiao to Andemen.

Hongshan Forest Zoo (Chinese: 红山森林动物园; pinyin: Hóngshān sēnlín dòngwùyuán) is a zoological park in Nanjing, the capital city of Jiangsu province, China. Located on 168 Heyan Road in the northern section of Nanjing city, it is a 171 acres (69 ha) park and forest with 280 kinds of animals.

Wutangguangchang station (simplified Chinese: 五塘广场站; traditional Chinese: 五塘廣場站; pinyin: Wǔtángguǎngchǎng Zhàn) is a station of Line 3 of the Nanjing Metro. It started operations on 1 April 2015. It is one of nine stations on Line 3 that are decorated with a Dream of the Red Chamber theme. On 28 December 2022, the platform of Line 7 started operation.

Xianlin railway station is a railway station of Shanghai–Nanjing intercity railway located in Qixia District of Nanjing City, People's Republic of China. From 2012, only one train a day in each direction has stopped at this station. This continues to be the case as of 2020. There is a morning train to Shanghai and an afternoon train to Nanjing.

Shangyuanmen station (simplified Chinese: 上元门站; traditional Chinese: 上元門站; pinyin: Shàngyuánmén Zhàn) is a station of Line 3 on the Nanjing Metro. Most of the line entered operation on 1 April 2015. However, due to delays in construction work clearing land in the station's vicinity, Shangyuanmen station itself opened on 18 October 2015.

Hepingmen (simplified Chinese: 和平门; traditional Chinese: 和平門; pinyin: Hépíngmén), literally meaning the Gate of Peace, was a gate in Beijing's former city wall. In the 1960s, the gate was torn down to make room for Beijing's second ring road. Today, Hepingmen is a transport node in Beijing as well as the location of Hepingmen Station on Line 2 of Beijing's subway system.

Xiao Xiu (Chinese: 蕭秀; pinyin: Xiāo Xiù), formally Prince Kang of Ancheng (Chinese: 安成康王; pinyin: Ānchéng Kāng Wáng (475–518), was a younger half-brother of Xiao Yan (Emperor Wu), the founder of the Liang dynasty of China. According to the Book of Liang, he was the 7th son of Xiao Yan's father Xiao Shunzhi.Xiao Xiu is said to have been a disciple of the Buddhist monk Daodu (道度, 462–527).

Jiangwangmiao station (simplified Chinese: 蒋王庙站; traditional Chinese: 蔣王廟站; pinyin: Jiǎngwángmiào Zhàn), is a station on Line 4 of the Nanjing Metro that opened in January 2017 along with eighteen other stations as part of Line 4's first phase. It is located underneath Jiangwangmiao Avenue on an east–west axis and within walking distance of Purple Mountain. Jiangwangmiao Station was originally named "Yingtuocun" Station during Line 4's planning phase.
