Kuosheng Nuclear Power Plant

Wanli District (Chinese: 萬里區; pinyin: Wànlǐ Qū), known in Basay as Masu, is a rural district on the rocky seacoast in northeastern New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. Wanli is a popular tourist destination and the site of the Cape Yeliu Miocene Formation which features distinctive hoodoo outcrops. The "Queen's Head" outcrop is a Taiwanese icon and serves as an informal trademark for the township. Kataw in the adjacent Jinshan District features the Wanli Taiwanese hot springs area, which is connected with the Jinshan Hot Springs (金山溫泉).

The Sihuangziping Pilot Geothermal Power Plant (traditional Chinese: 四磺子坪先導地熱發電廠; simplified Chinese: 四磺子坪先导地热发电厂; pinyin: Sìhuángzipíng Xiāndǎo Dìrè Fādiànchǎng) is an upcoming geothermal power plant in Jinshan District, New Taipei, Taiwan. It is the first power plant in Taiwan powered by a volcano.

The Wuzhi Mountain Military Cemetery (Chinese: 五指山國軍示範公墓; pinyin: Wǔzhǐ Shān Guójūn Shìfàn Gōngmù, sometimes romanized as Wuchih) is Taiwan's most prominent military cemetery. The cemetery is located on Wuzhi Mountain (五指山) at an elevation of 699 metres (2,293 ft) in Xizhi, New Taipei City and borders Taipei City's Neihu District and Yangmingshan National Park. The cemetery has a wide open view ranging from the Taipei 101 over at Taipei's Xinyi District to the Keelung Harbor.

Qidu District or Cidu District (Chinese: 七堵區; Hanyu Pinyin: Qīdǔ Qū; Tongyong Pinyin: Cidǔ Cyu; Wade–Giles: Ch'i1-tu3 Chü1; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Chhit-tó͘-khu) is a district of the city of Keelung, Taiwan. It borders New Taipei to the west.

The Milk Lake (Chinese: 牛奶湖; pinyin: Niúnǎi Hú) (also known as Milk pond) is a lake in Shilin District, Taipei, Taiwan. The lake is part of Yangmingshan National Park. The temperature of Milk lake is around 40 °C (104 °F). This lake was formed due to volcanic activities and the surrounding landscape.

The Xizhi Gongbei Temple (Chinese: 汐止拱北殿; pinyin: Xīzhǐ gǒngběi diàn) is a traditional Taoist temple located on Sanxiu Mountain in Xizhi District, New Taipei, Taiwan. Zhenren Lü Dongbin, known locally as Hianggong (Chinese: 仙公), is the principal Deity worshiped at Xizhi Gongbei Temple. Every year, from late November to late December, the temple is also a popular tourist spot for maple viewing. There are various hiking trails around the Xizhi Gongbei Temple. The cityscape of downtown Xizhi and the mountains in the distance can be viewed after following the stone steps up to the Chuanliu Pavilion.

The Tatun Volcanic Group (Chinese: 大屯火山群; pinyin: Dàtún Huǒshān Qún) constitutes a group of volcanoes located in northern Taiwan. It is located 15 km north of Taipei, and lies to the west of Keelung. It just adjoins the northern coast of the Taiwan island. The volcanic group was a result of episodic volcanism between 2.8 and 0.2 Ma. As of 2005, some geothermal activity was occurring and gas fumaroles were active among these volcanoes. Observations of the Tatun Volcanic Group suggest that magma chambers probably still exist under the land surface of northern Taiwan.

Qixing Mountain, also spelled Cising Mountain or Chihsing Mountain, (Chinese: 七星山; Hanyu Pinyin: Qīxīng Shān; Tongyong Pinyin: Cising Shan; Wade–Giles: Ch'i1-Hsing1 Shan1; lit. 'Seven Star Mountain') is a mountain in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is located within the Tatun Volcanic Group and is the highest mountain in the city, at the rim of Taipei Basin. It is also the highest (dormant) volcano in Taiwan. It is located in the center of Yangmingshan National Park; its main peak is 1,120 meters (3,670 ft) above sea level.It began erupting about 700,000 years ago. There was a crater at the peak but it became seven small peaks due to post-eruption erosion. The mountain has faults running across the southeast and northwest contours, and has volcanic landforms such as hot springs and fumaroles. Shamao Mountain is a round volcanic dome that looks like a black gauze cap. As the lava was more viscous when the mountain was formed, it gradually became a tholoid, also known as a cumulo-dome volcano, it is 643 meters (2,110 ft) above sea level. Shamaoshan and Cigushan (七股山, 890 meters (2,920 ft)) are parasitic volcanoes of Qixingshan. This mountain is the source of the name for Shichisei District (七星郡), Taihoku Prefecture, Taiwan under Japanese rule. This district included modern day Xizhi, Shilin, Beitou, Nangang, Neihu, Songshan, and Xinyi.

Yangmingshan National Park is one of the nine national parks in Taiwan, located in both Taipei and New Taipei City. The districts that are partially in the park include Taipei's Beitou and Shilin Districts; and New Taipei's Wanli, Jinshan, Sanzhi and Tamsui Districts. The national park is known for its cherry blossoms, hot springs, sulfur deposits, fumaroles, venomous snakes, and hiking trails, including Taiwan's tallest dormant volcano, Qixing (Seven Star) Mountain rising to 1,120 m (3,675 ft).

The Chung-Shan Building (Chinese: 中山樓; pinyin: Zhōngshān Lóu) is part of the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall complex. Completed in 1966, the building is located in the Yangmingshan National Park in Taipei, Taiwan. The building is placed on the reverse of the 100 New Taiwan Dollar bill. The building was used as the meeting venue of the National Assembly and off limits to the general public until the National Assembly's suspension in 2005, and now serves as a location for hosting ceremonies by the President of the Republic of China for state visits and conferences.

Qidu (Chinese: 七堵; pinyin: Qīdǔ; Wade–Giles: C'hi¹tu³) is a railway station in Keelung, Taiwan served by the Taiwan Railways Administration.

The Dalun Lake (traditional Chinese: 大崙湖; simplified Chinese: 大仑湖; pinyin: Dàlún Hú) is a lake in Neihu District, Taipei, Taiwan.
