Kowloon Bay

Kowloon Rock (Chinese: 九龍石) is an island in the middle of Kowloon Bay in Hong Kong, near the runway of the former Kai Tak Airport. Administratively, it is part of Kowloon City District. The rock has no vegetation. An isolated danger daymark is installed to alert passing vessels. The island is now sheltered in the To Kwa Wan typhoon shelter by a dyke across the bay.

China Airlines Flight 605 (callsign "Dynasty 605") was a daily non-stop flight departing from Taipei at 6:30 a.m. and arriving at Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong at 7:00 a.m. local time. On November 4, 1993, the plane went off the runway while landing during a storm. It was the first hull loss of a Boeing 747-400.

Kowloon City Ferry Pier (Chinese: 九龍城碼頭) is a ferry pier in Ma Tau Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is at the north of Hoi Sham Park and the east of East Kowloon Corridor.

Kai Tak Sports Park is a multi-purpose sports venue that is being built at the site of the former Kai Tak Airport in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The sports park will be located on the north western part of the old Kai Tak Airport, where some of the parking stands used to be.When it opens, Kai Tak Sports Park will become the largest sports venue in Hong Kong and will provide high quality sports facilities to support the future sports development of Hong Kong.South China Morning Post reported that the sports park would be completed by 2023, costing HK$30 billion and would have a 50,000-seat Main Stadium with a retractable roof, a 10,000-seat Indoor Sports Center and a 5,000-seat Public Sports Ground.

Grand Waterfront (Chinese: 翔龍灣) is a private housing estate and a shopping mall in Ma Tau Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong, near Kowloon City Ferry Pier. Formerly a Hong Kong and China Gas towngas plant, the estate consists of five 57-storey high-rise buildings and a shopping arcade. It was jointly developed by Henderson Land Development and Hong Kong and China Towngas and completed in 2007.

The Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre (KITEC, formerly known as the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre or HITEC), is an exhibition centre, shopping mall and performance venue situated at 1 Trademart Drive, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was developed by Hopewell Holdings Ltd.

Ma Tau Kok (Chinese: 馬頭角) is a place north of To Kwa Wan, south-east of modern-day Ma Tau Chung and south-west of the former Kai Tak Airport (now Kai Tak Development) in Hong Kong. It was a cape in Kowloon Bay in Victoria Harbour and opposite to the Sacred Hill and the mouth of Ma Tau Chung. Ma Tau Kok is a mixed industrial and residential area. Ma Tau Kok Road is named after Ma Tau Kok.

Hoi Sham Island (Chinese: 海心島; lit. 'island in the middle of the sea'), also called To Kwa Wan Island (土瓜灣島), was an island in Kowloon Bay off the coast of To Kwa Wan, Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong. It was connected to the mainland as a consequence of land reclamation, and it is now part of Hoi Sham Park (海心公園).

MegaBox is a large shopping centre in Hong Kong and part of the Enterprise Square Five shopping and office complex, located at 38 Wang Chiu Road, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon. With 19 stories and a floor area of 100,000 m2 (1,100,000 sq ft), MegaBox is the largest shopping centre in Eastern Kowloon. In addition MegaBox houses an ice rink, MegaIce, which is the largest in Hong Kong at 26 metres x 57 metres. MegaBox's UA theatre is the first commercial theatre in Hong Kong to have the IMAX film display system. It also offers a 1000-space car park. Although it is not built on top of a railway station, the mall is accessible by its free shuttle bus service, plying between the mall and MTR Kowloon Bay station with a frequent headway. Visitors using the MTR have complained of the long delay of around 15 mins from waiting for the shuttle bus to and from the mall. The mall is 15 minutes from the station on foot.

Hong Kong Children's Hospital (Chinese: 香港兒童醫院; Cantonese Yale: Hēunggóng Yìhtùhng Yīyún) is the first children hospital in Hong Kong's public healthcare system, located in Kowloon City, Hong Kong. Located at the south apron of the former Kai Tak Airport, the hospital has 468 beds for inpatients and day-patients, providing mainly tertiary services for complex and rare paediatric cases. Funded by the Hong Kong Government, construction of the HK$13 billion hospital began in August 2013. The hospital treats patients with a referral up to 19 years of age.The hospital first focuses on cancer and kidney diseases in the first phase of operation in December 2018. Services currently available include oncology and haematology, nephrology, metabolic medicine, intensive care, paediatric surgery, pathology, anaesthesia, radiology, pharmacy and allied health services. Other clinical services will commence gradually.

Enterprise Square Five (Traditional Chinese: 企業廣場五期) is a shopping mall and office building complex in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong. It was developed by Kerry Properties. It opened in June 2007. The property comprises the MegaBox shopping mall and two office buildings. It is the largest single property among the Enterprise Square properties, occupying 1,600,000 square feet (150,000 m2) and costing HK$2 billion to build. Hang Seng Bank is the biggest tenant that rent the entire Block 2.

To Kwa Wan (traditional Chinese: 土瓜灣; simplified Chinese: 土瓜湾; Jyutping: tou2 gwaa1 waan1; pinyin: Tǔguāwān) is a bay and an area of the eastern shore of Kowloon peninsula. The area is part of urban Hong Kong, and is situated between Hok Yuen, Hung Hom, Ma Tau Wai and Ma Tau Kok. Administratively, the area belongs to the Kowloon City District of Kowloon. To Kwa Wan is a mixed residential and commercial area, located to the west of the old Kai Tak Airport. It comprises mostly mid-20th century residential and light industrial architecture of 10 or fewer floors, built to comply with height restrictions for the former Kai Tak Airport. Since the airport closed in 1998, new buildings are taller, often with commercial space on the ground floor, especially along major roads such a Ma Tau Wai Road.
