Amona, Mateh Binyamin

Ofra (Hebrew: עֹפְרָה) is an Israeli settlement located in the northern West Bank. Located on the main road between Jerusalem and Nablus (Route 60), it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 3,026. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law. According to human rights organization B'Tselem, the state of Israel itself acknowledges that much of the Ofra civilian settlement is built on privately owned Palestinian land, which is unlawful according to Israeli law.In August 2016, the military governorate admitted to the Israeli High Court of Justice that a large portion of Ofra, totalling 45 dunams, was built on land privately owned by Palestinians prior to the occupation, including areas "located in the heart of the settlement". Following the ruling of the High Court that Israeli homes in this area were illegal, the state has undertaken steps with the goal of restituting the land back to its private Palestinian owners. Following the successful effort to demolish the settlement of Amona, Silwad Mayor Abdul Rahman Saleh signaled that he would petition the High Court on behalf of Ofra landowners with the goal of evicting Israeli settlers there. Considering the Jordanian military base which existed there, he accepted the presence of Israeli soldiers.

Silwad Camp (Arabic: مخيم سلواد), is a Palestinian refugee camp north-east of Ramallah, was established in 1972. The transfer took place in the form of the restructuring of the Nuseirat, Shati and Bureij refugee camps in Gaza.

Deir Jarir (Arabic: دير جرير) is a Palestinian agricultural town in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the central West Bank, located twelve kilometers (7.5 miles) northeast of Ramallah. It is situated on a hilltop overlooking the Jordan Valley at an elevation of 900 metres (3,000 feet). According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), Deir Jarir had a population of 4,469 inhabitants in 2017. It spreads along a large land area of 33,357 dunams (33.357 km2), of which 17.2% is under the civil jurisdiction of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), while the remainder is under Israeli military control. Most of the land administered by the PNA is the city's built-up area and most of Deir Jarir's cultivated lands are grown with grape vines and fig and olive trees. Open-spaces make-up 76% of the town's area.

Taybeh Brewery (Arabic: مخمرة الطيبة, lit. "Delicious Brewery") is a Palestinian brewery founded in 1994 in the West Bank village of Taybeh, 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Jerusalem, in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate of the State of Palestine. It is considered to be the first Palestinian brewery and the first, pioneering microbrewery in the whole Middle East, having predated the first Israeli microbrewery by about ten years. Since its establishment, a number of other notable Middle Eastern microbreweries have been established, including Birzeit Brewery, also in Palestine.

Taybeh (Arabic: الطيبة) is a Christian Palestinian village in the West Bank, 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) northeast of Jerusalem and 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) northeast of Ramallah, in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate of Palestine. It is 850 meters (2,790 feet) above sea level. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, Taybeh had a population of 1,340 in 2017. Taybeh is one of the about a dozen majority-Christian villages in the West Bank.

Tall Asur (Arabic: تل العاصور), (Hebrew: Ba'al-hazor (Hebrew: בַּעַל חָצוֹר; also Hebrew: רמת חָצוֹר, romanized: Ramat Hazor Mount Hazor), is an irregularly shaped plateau, marking the geographical boundary between Samaria to its north and Judea to its south. It is one of the highest points in the West Bank; with an altitude of approximately 1,020 metres (3,350 ft) above sea level. It is surrounded by the villages of Silwad, Taybeh, Kafr Malik and Al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya and the Israeli settlement of Ofra. It is identified with the biblical site of Ba'al-hazor, a place in Samaria on the border of Ephraim and Benjamin where Absalom held the feast of sheep-shearing when Amnon was assassinated. If that is correct, the modern Arabic place name preserves the original Biblical name.

Ein Yabrud (Arabic: عين يبرود) is a Palestinian town in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the central West Bank. It is located approximately 7 km northeast of the city of Ramallah and its elevation is 800 m. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) the town had a population of 3,000 in 2007.

Rammun (Arabic: رمّون) is a Palestinian town in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the central West Bank, located twelve kilometers east of Ramallah and three kilometers south of Taybeh. Other nearby towns include Deir Dibwan to the southwest, Beitin to the east and Ein Yabrud to the northeast.

Silwad (Arabic: سلواد) is a Palestinian town located north-east of Ramallah, about 5 km away from the Nablus-Jerusalem highway of the West Bank, in the State of Palestine. Silwad's altitude is about 851 meters above sea level. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the town had a population of 6,342 inhabitants in 2017. Silwad is thought to have been built upon ruins dating back to the Mamluk and Early Ottoman eras. During the Ottoman period, it was primarily inhabited by people of Bedouin origin. It was previously recorded under the name of "Lisan el-Wadi".

The Ai (Hebrew: הָעַי, romanized: hāʿAy, lit. 'the heap (of ruins)'; Douay–Rheims: Hai) was a Canaanite city. According to the Book of Joshua in the Hebrew Bible, it was conquered by the Israelites on their second attempt. The ruins of the city are popularly thought to be in the modern-day archeological site Et-Tell.

Yabrud (Arabic: يبرود) is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the central West Bank. It is located approximately 13 km northeast of the city of Ramallah and its elevation is 790 m. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) 2007 estimates, the town had a population of 644.

Deir Dibwan (Arabic: دير دبوان) is a Palestinian city in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the central West Bank east of Ramallah. It is also the capital of the Eastern District with Mr. Iyad Mohammad Habbas AlAwawdah the mayor. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics the town had a population of approximately 5,252 inhabitants in mid-year 2006. There were 5,016 people from Deir Dibwan living abroad. Deir Dibwan was built close to the ruins of Et-Tell.
