National Library of Sweden

Humlegården is a major park in the district of Östermalm in Stockholm, Sweden. The park borders on Karlavägen in the north, Sturegatan in the east, Humlegårdsgatan in the south and Engelbrektsgatan in the west. It is the location of the Swedish Royal Library (Kungliga biblioteket).

Engelbrektsplan is a town square in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located at the southern end of Engelbrektsgatan in Östermalm and is situated next to Humlegården.

Sturecompagniet is one of Swedens biggest and most known nightclubs and is located at the old Sturebadets 1800-locals at Sturegatan 4 at Stureplan in Stockholm. Close to Sturecompagniet lies nightclubs Hell's Kitchen and IV. Sturecompagniet was in 1994 the scene of the notorious mass murder perpetrated by Tommy Zethraeus.

Stureplan is a public square in central Stockholm, between Norrmalm and Östermalm. The square connects the major streets Kungsgatan, Birger Jarlsgatan and Sturegatan. The buildings around the square house offices of banks and other financial institutions, as well as several corporate headquarters. Some of the country's most famous and expensive restaurants and bars are located in the area around Stureplan. Some examples are Sturehof, Spy Bar, Riche, Laroy, Hell's Kitchen, East and Sturecompagniet. Shops in the area include Versace, Hugo Boss, Gucci, and LV. In Sweden, Stureplan has also become a well-known symbol for exclusivity since the major refurbishments during the 1980s. Known as an area with many expensive, luxurious bars and restaurants, it is considered a playground for upper-class youth, celebrities, young business executives and the hipper, more recent members of the Swedish Royal Family.Close to Stureplan is the park Humlegården with the National Library of Sweden. Stureplan is connected to Östermalmstorg metro station of the Stockholm Metro.

The Nobel Foundation (Swedish: Nobelstiftelsen) is a private institution founded on 29 June 1900 to manage the finances and administration of the Nobel Prizes. The Foundation is based on the last will of Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite.It also holds Nobel Symposia on important breakthroughs in science and topics of cultural or social significance.

Sturehof is a seafood and shellfish restaurant located on the Stureplan in central Stockholm, Sweden.

Teater Brunnsgatan Fyra, named after its address, Brunnsgatan 4, is a small theatre in Stockholm for contemporary Swedish dramatic work. It was founded by the actor and playwright Allan Edwall. After his death in 1997, it was managed by the poet and playwright Kristina Lugn until 2011, when Lugn's daughter Martina Montelius took over. The stage is small and intimate, and the theatre seats only around 100 people.

The Embassy of Poland in Stockholm (Swedish: Republiken Polens Ambassad i Stockholm; Polish: Ambasada Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej w Sztokholmie) is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom of Sweden. The chancery is located at Karlavägen 35, Stockholm. The main chancery of the Polish embassy in Stockholm is located in the city centre district of Östermalm on a street which borders the Humlegården park. The building which houses the embassy is a mix of 1920s modernist design and classical architecture which also incorporates a number of elements of the late Art Deco style such as the heavily ornamented but functional window surrounds. The consular section which is located at Prästgårdsgatan 5, in the suburb of Sundbyberg.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities also called simply the Royal Academy of Letters or Vitterhetsakademin abbreviated KVHAA (Swedish: Kungl. Vitterhetsakademien Historie och Antikvitets Akademien or Kungliga Vitterhets Historie och Antikvitets Akademien or Vitterhetsakademien) is the Swedish royal academy for the Humanities. Its many publications include the archaeological and art historical journal Fornvännen, published since 1906.

Östermalmstorg metro station is station on the red line of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Östermalm. The station was opened on 16 May 1965 as the 59th station in the Stockholm system as the north terminus of the extension from T-Centralen. On 2 September 1967, the line was extended northeast to Ropsten. On 30 September 1973, another extension, north to Tekniska högskolan, was opened. The platform is approximately 38 metres (125 ft) below the surface. It is located in the city center, making it one of the most-used stations in the system, with approximately 38,550 people travelling from the station on an average workday.The station was built by the cut-and-cover method and formed the first part of the extension of the red line north of T-Centralen. Nearby stations include Stadion (T14) and Karlaplan. Stockholm Central Station is about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) away. The station has two main accessible exits, one by Östermalmstorg and one by Stureplan. The major artwork of the subway station was created by Siri Derkert and symbolises women's rights, world peace, and the green movement. It was designed to function as a shelter in the event of nuclear war.

Stockholm University College of Music Education (Swedish: Stockholms Musikpedagogiska Institut, SMI) is a Swedish university college in Stockholm which offers higher education in the field of music pedagogy in communal arts and culture schools as well as voice and speech pedagogy (logonomy). SMI is situated at Campus Flemingsberg in Huddinge municipality, together with Södertörn University, Karolinska Institute Huddinge, Red Cross University College of Nursing and the Royal Institute of Technology.

Pernby's paint school (Swedish: Pernbys målarskola), primarily Otte Skölds målarskola, in Stockholm was founded in 1929 by Otte Sköld (1894–1958) and Åke Pernby (1901–1981). The school was renamed in 1949, when Otte Skölds became head of the Nationalmuseum, and Åke Pernby was in charge as rector. The school offers a two years training in painting and subscription, and prepares students for a higher education in Fine Arts.
