Manor Mill, Chadderton is an early twentieth century, five storey cotton spinning mill in Chadderton, Oldham, Greater Manchester. It was built in 1906. It was taken over by the Lancashire Cotton Corporation in the 1930s and passed to Courtaulds in 1964. Production finished in 1990.

Westwood Moravian Church was founded in 1865 in the Westwood area of Oldham, in Greater Manchester, England. By 1868 the church building was too small for its congregation, and a new structure was opened in 1869. This church was used for Moravian services until 2005 when the congregation sold it and moved to its new premises in Royton. The Westwood building still stands.

Westwood is an urban area of Oldham, in Greater Manchester, England. It occupies a hillside known as North Moor in the western part of Oldham, close to its boundary with Royton and Chadderton. Westwood, which has no formal boundary or extent, is bisected by the A6048 road . Historically a part of Lancashire, Westwood was formerly an electoral ward of the County Borough of Oldham, but is now split between the wards of Coldhurst and Werneth, which lie to the north and south respectively. The Halal Inn was an alcohol free inn and temperance bar in the United Kingdom. It was designed for Muslims. It is located in Oldham, Greater Manchester and opened in December 2007. It was owned by Azizur Rahman and Muzahid Khan. They bought and converted the Westwood Inn to the Halal Inn. The bar served soft drinks, fruit juice, non-alcoholic spritzers, tea, and coffee but no alcohol. The inn also was home to a restaurant that serves traditional Asian and Middle Eastern food such as poppadoms, chicken pakora, seekh kebabs and the lamb dish saag gosht. There was also a steam room and a prayer room. The inn ran a snooker league, a Carrom league, and a monthly Islamic quiz night. Although the customers were predominantly male and Muslim, people of all backgrounds could frequent the inn.Cited as closed down, owner 'gone away'.

Baretrees (or Bare Trees) is a residential area of Chadderton in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, in Greater Manchester, England. It takes its name from a former hamlet in the north east of the town in what is now the Laburnum Avenue area.A local primary school, Bare Trees, bears the locality's name on nearby Holly Grove.Bare Trees also has an active residents association.One of the fifteen fatalities of the Peterloo Massacre, Thomas Buckley, was from the hamlet of Bare Trees. Buckley, a gardener aged 62, was described by his neighbours as a 'person fanciful to the fruit garden, a staunch patriot, an enemy to oppression'. Buckley was bayoneted and slashed by a sabre.

Chadderton Urban District was, from 1894 to 1974, a local government district of the administrative county of Lancashire, England. It was centred on the town of Chadderton. It was created an urban district in 1894 by the Local Government Act 1894 and included the civil parish of Chadderton and part of the district of Hollinwood. In 1974 Chadderton Urban District was abolished by the Local Government Act 1972 and its former area transferred to Greater Manchester to form part of the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham.

Textile Mill, Chadderton was a cotton spinning mill in Chadderton, Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. It was built in 1882 by Potts, Pickup & Dixon for the Textile Mill Co. Ltd, and closed in 1927. It was taken over by the Lancashire Cotton Corporation in the late 1940s and passed to Courtaulds in 1964 and used for cotton waste sorting. Half of the building was destroyed by fire on 11 July 1950, but the remaining section continued to be used for cotton waste sorting by W. H. Holt and Son until 1988. Lancashire England

Westwood is a tram stop on the Oldham and Rochdale Line (ORL) of the Manchester Metrolink and serves the Westwood area of Oldham, in Greater Manchester, England. The stop opened on 27 January 2014. The tram stop is a 15-minute walk away from Oldham Athletic Football Club.
