Clyde Engineering Building

The David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies provides international study and service opportunities for students at Brigham Young University (BYU). The center is housed in the Herald R. Clark building and offers six interdisciplinary studies programs: Ancient Near East studies, Asian Studies, European Studies, International Relations, Latin American Studies, and Middle Eastern Studies/Arabic. The center also holds conferences, seminars, and weekly forums on international issues designed to prepare students for international careers. As of August 2021, the director for the center was V. Stanley Benfell.

The BYU College of Life Sciences was originally named the College of Biology and Agriculture. It was formed in 1954 from the division of the College of Applied Science into this college and the College of Family Living, which was a partial predecessor of the College of Family, Home and Social Sciences. While the Agronomy; Horticulture; Animal Husbandry; Industrial Arts and Drawing; and Bacteriology programs all came from the College of Applied Science the Botany; and Zoology and Entomology programs came from the College of Arts and Sciences. Thomas L. Martin was the first dean of the College of Biology and Agriculture. In 1954 the Agricultural Economics Department was moved from the College of Commerce to the College of Biology and Agriculture. In 1957 the General College, with the Industrial Education courses, the Technical Institute, Provisional Registration and the Institute of American Indian Studies and Research was divided off to form the General College.

The Carl F. Eyring Science Center (ESC) is one of the science buildings on the Brigham Young University (BYU) campus in Provo, Utah, United States. It was built in 1950 and named after Carl F. Eyring in 1954.

The Primrose International Viola Archive (PIVA) is the official viola archive of both the International Viola Society and American Viola Society. It is located in the Harold B. Lee Library at Brigham Young University. Scottish-American violist William Primrose started the archive with the donation of his many materials on the viola.

The BYU College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences was first organized in 1949 the College of Physical and Engineering Sciences. Engineering was later separated off and merged with the College of Industrial and Technical Education to form the College of Engineering and Technology. The founding dean of the newly formed College of Physical and Mathematical Science in 1972 was Jae R. Ballif.The BYU College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences consists of seven departments. Chemistry and Biochemistry Computer Science Geological Science Mathematics Mathematics Education Physics and Astronomy StatisticsThe department of physics and astronomy offers a broad array of classes in both these subjects. It operates the BYU planetarium and the various telescopes connected with BYU's observatory. Besides astronomy the department has research groups in Acoustics; Atomic, Molecular and Optical studies; Condensed Matter; Plasma; and Theoretical and Mathematical physics. The program also works closely with the David O. McKay College of Education to train physics teachers primarily to teach in high schools. The College also supervises the BYU Center for Animation.

The International Harp Archives (IHA) is a collection of archives from the World Harp Congress, American Harp Society, and individual harpists. It is located at the Harold B. Lee Library in Brigham Young University (BYU). The archives began as a collection established by Samuel and Rosalie Pratt, and it may be the largest collection of harp materials in the world.

The L. Tom Perry Special Collections is the special collections department of Brigham Young University (BYU)'s Harold B. Lee Library in Provo, Utah. Founded in 1957 with 1,000 books and 50 manuscript collections, as of 2016 the Library's special collections contained over 300,000 books, 11,000 manuscript collections, and over 2.5 million photographs, among many other rare and unique research materials. Since its inception, the special collections have been housed in numerous places including the crawl space of a university building and a wholesale grocery warehouse. Since 2016, the special collections have been located on the first floor of the Harold B. Lee Library and is considered to hold "the finest collection of rare books in the Intermountain West and the second finest Mormon collection in existence".

The Harold B. Lee Library (HBLL) is the main academic library of Brigham Young University (BYU) located in Provo, Utah. The library started as a small collection of books in the president's office in 1876 before moving in 1891. The Heber J. Grant Library building was completed in 1925, and in 1961 the library moved to the newly constructed J. Reuben Clark Library where it stands today. That building was renamed to the Harold B. Lee Library in 1974.The library was significantly expanded in the 1990s, providing new individual and group study rooms and a special vault area for the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Library. In 2016, the library contained over 4.7 million books, 10.6 million total materials, and served over 10,000 patrons each day. The library was ranked by the Princeton Review within the top three university libraries in the United States four times: in 2004, 2007, 2012, and 2023.

The Franklin S. Harris Fine Arts Center (HFAC) was previously the main location for Brigham Young University's (BYU) College of Fine Arts and Communications (CFAC). In early 2023, the building was demolished to make way for a new arts building on the same site. The HFAC was inaugurated in 1964 and was designed by architect William Pereira in the modernist style popular at the time of its construction. The building was notable for its dramatic multi-floor, open, interior atrium that served as an exhibition gallery and an acoustically-resonate space for occasional concerts. The building’s entrances featured four dramatic open patios. The open design of the patios maximized natural light to multiple wings and created exterior workspaces for students. The HFAC was located immediately to the south of the Museum of Art, and just north of the Wilkinson Student Center.In 2022, BYU announced plans to demolish the building and build a new arts building in its place, in addition to the new music building announced a few years prior. Demolition began in early 2023. In the meantime, non-musical programs formerly housed in the HFAC will temporarily occupy renovated space in the former Provo High School building, now called the West Campus Central Building.

The Spencer W. Kimball Tower, also known as the Kimball Tower or KMBL (formerly SWKT ), is a 12-story building that houses classrooms and administrative offices on the Brigham Young University campus in Provo, Utah.

The BYU College of Nursing is one of the 16 colleges that make up Brigham Young University. It currently has more than 400 students. It began as the BYU School of Nursing in the fall of 1952 offering a bachelor's degree in nursing. Vivian Hansen was the first dean. At some point in the 1950s, it was changed from being designated a school to being designated a College. In 1963 an associate degree in nursing was established under the auspices of BYU's College of Industrial and Technical Education. The change occurred because some sectors of the academic nursing community felt that associate degree programs should not coexist with bachelor's degree programs. In 1973 the associate degree program was moved into the College of Nursing making transfer between the two programs easier. By 1976 the program had shifted to only granting bachelor's degrees with the associate degrees phased out. In that year the college of nursing added a masters program in nursing.

The Joseph Smith Building, also known as the JSB, is a building that houses classrooms and administrative offices at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. The building is named after Joseph Smith, founder of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is the home to BYU's College of Religious Education, containing most of the offices of religion faculty as well as many classrooms where religion classes are held. It also has a large lecture hall that seats about 1,000 people and is used for large classes.
