Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport (Armenian: Հայաստանի ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի և սպորտի պետական ինստիտուտ) is a higher educational institution institute, located in Yerevan, Armenia. It was founded in 1945 and prepares coached, sport journalists, and specialists in the field of health improving physical culture kinesiology and adaptive physical culture. The graduates are awarded a diploma, which is a state-authorized document asserting the higher education completion for state agencies.

Khachatur Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) (Armenian: Խաչատուր Աբովյանի անվան հայկական պետական մանկավարժական համալսարան, ՀՊՄՀ), is a state university and higher education institution based in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Founded in 1922, the university is specialized in pedagogy and the preparation of teaching staff.Named after the 19th-century Armenian writer Khachatur Abovian, the current rector of the university is professor Srbuhi Gevorgyan.

The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) (Armenian: Հայաստանի Ֆուտբոլի Ֆեդերացիա, Hayastani Futboli Federats’ia) is the governing body of association football in Armenia. Its headquarters are located in Yerevan. The Federation organizes the Armenian Premier League, the Armenian First League, the Armenian Super Cup, the Armenian Independence Cup, and the Armenian Futsal Premier League. It is responsible for appointing the management of the Armenia national football team, and the Armenia women's national football team. The Armenia national futsal team is also managed by the Federation. The FFA was awarded a synthetic football turf pitch by FIFA through its GOAL programme.

Its products and services include, but are not limited to, CMPTL, property, health, personal accidents, liability insurance, as well as unique offerings for Armenian market such as agricultural, motor, cyber and cargo insurance packages. Ingo Armenia was founded in 1997, and acquired by Ingosstrakh IPJSC in 2003, which for more than 70 years is one of the leading insurance companies in Russia. Currently, Ingo Armenia is the largest insurance provider in Armenia, and is 132nd of the Top 400 Taxpayers of Armenia, by 2019 rankings.

Tigran Petrosian Chess House (Armenian: Տիգրան Պետրոսյանի անվան Շախմատի Տուն), officially the Central House of Chess-player named after Tigran Petrosian (Armenian: Տիգրան Պետրոսյանի անվան Շախմատիստի Կենտրոնական Տուն), is the centre of the sport of chess in Yerevan, Armenia. It was opened in 1970. In 1984, it was renamed after the former world chess champion Tigran Petrosian. The architect of the triangular-shaped building was Zhanna Meshcheryakova. Petrosian laid the first stone in the foundation of the building. Currently, the director of the centre is Hrachik Tavadyan. The chess house is located on Khanjyan street, within the Circular Park of the Kentron district. It is home to the Yerevan chess school operating since 1971. According to many visitors, the chess house is one of the best chess centers in the world. Many great international events have been regularly held in the building, including the Tigran Petrosian Memorial. It is also the venue of the yearly domestic championship. The Tigran Petrosian Chess House publishes the "Shakhmatayin Hayastan" weekly (Armenian: Շախմատային Հայաստան, meaning Chess in Armenia) since 1972. In 1989, the statue of the champion Tigran Petrosian, created by the Armenian sculptor Ara Shiraz, was erected in front of the chess house. In 2002, the Chess Academy of Armenia was opened. The chess house is also serving as the home of the Chess Federation of Armenia. The president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, is the current head of the Chess Federation of Armenia. The building of the chess house is listed among the historic and cultural monuments of the city of Yerevan.

The Pana-Khan Palace (Armenian: Փանախանի տունը, romanized: Panakhani tuny) is a 19th-century palace-type complex located in central Yerevan, Armenia. Built during the period of Iranian Armenia, the palace is located near Sakharov Square (formerly Pana-Khan Square), on the second lane of Vardanants Street. Since the end of the Persian rule in Yerevan in 1828, it now serves as a private residential complex.

Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium (Armenian: Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան Հանրապետական մարզադաշտ), also known as the Republican Stadium (Armenian: Հանրապետական մարզադաշտ, romanized: Hanrapetakan Marzadasht), is an all-seater multi-use stadium located on 65 Vardanants street, in the Armenian capital Yerevan. The stadium was built between 1933 and 1935. It was officially opened in 1935 as Dinamo Stadium. Further developments were implemented in 1953, after the end of World War II. It is mainly used for association football and is the home ground of the Armenia national football team. The capacity of the stadium is 14,403 seats.

Football Club Pyunik Yerevan (Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ Փյունիկ Երևան), commonly known as Pyunik ("Phoenix"), is an Armenian professional sports club based in the Kentron neighbourhood of Yerevan. Pyunik is mostly known for its professional football team which, since its creation in 1992, has always played in the Armenian Premier League, becoming the most successful team of Armenia in number of official titles, with 31 won to date. Internationally, Pyunik has yet to win an international title, with the closest result being a bronze place finish in the 2006 Commonwealth of Independent States Cup. Pyunik's domestic success usually qualifies the team for UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League qualifying rounds. Pyunik is also known to be one of the most popular football clubs in Armenia, along with Urartu, Shirak and Ararat. Pyunik has always had a fierce rivalry with Ararat, as both clubs are considered to be the most successful clubs in Armenia, the latter due to its Soviet accomplishments. Both clubs are also the two most popular in the country and favorites within the Armenian Diaspora. Pyunik also shares a rivalry with Urartu which began when Urartu relocated from Abovyan to Yerevan in 2001, and became the third largest team in the city. The Pyunik-Urartu rivalry is seen as one of the biggest clashes in Armenian football. Pyunik's home stadium is the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, which is also home to the Armenia national football team. The youth academy has produced many Armenian internationals such as Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Robert Arzumanyan, Karlen Mkrtchyan, Edgar Manucharyan, Varazdat Haroyan and Gevorg Ghazaryan, many who have played or are playing for top European clubs.

Yerevan Vernissage (Armenian: Վերնիսաժ Vernisazh) is a large open-air market in Yerevan, Armenia. The name of the market is the derived from the French word vernissage. The market lies along Aram Street and Buzand Street at a length of 350 metres (1,150 ft), connecting the Hanrapetutyun street with the Khanjyan street. The market mainly features a collection of different types of traditional Armenian art works.

Yerevan State University (YSU; Armenian: Երևանի պետական համալսարան, ԵՊՀ, Yerevani petakan hamalsaran), also simply University of Yerevan, is the oldest continuously operating public university in Armenia. Founded in 1919, it is the largest university in the country. It is thus informally known as Armenia's "mother university" (Մայր բուհ, Mayr buh). Of its 3,150 employees, 1,190 comprise the teaching staff, which includes 25 academicians, 130 professors, 700 docents (associate professors), and 360 assistant lecturers. The university has 400 researchers, 1,350 post-graduate students, and 8,500 undergraduates, including 300 students from abroad.Instruction is in Armenian, but instruction in Russian or English for foreign students is available as needed. The academic year is from September 1 through June 30. According to University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP), it was the top-ranked university in Armenia and the 954th in the world in 2010, of 20,000 institutions included in the list. Yerevan State University was listed among the 1,000 best universities of the world according to the QS World University Ranking 2022.YSU is a full member of the International Association of Universities, European University Association (EUA), the Association of Eurasian Universities, the Russian Union of Rectors, the Association of Universities of the Countries of the Black Sea Region, and the International Association of Presidents of Universities.

Avetik Isahakyan Central Library, officially Yerevan Municipality “City Central Library after Avetik Isahakyan” communal non-commercial organization (Armenian: Երևանի Քաղաքապետարանի «Ավետիք Իսահակյանի անվան Կենտրոնական գրադարան» ՀՈԱԿ) is a public library in Yerevan, Armenia. It was founded in 1935 at 26 Amiryan Street, with T. Barkhudaryan as its headmaster. In 1955, it was renamed after the famous poet Avetik Isahakyan on the 80th anniversary of the master. Today the library's main building is located at 4/1 Nalbandyan street, with 10 branches located on Baghramyan, Sayat-Nova avenue, Tigran Mets, Komitas and Kievyan avenues and Moskovyan, N. Zaryan, Atoyan, Rustaveli, Norq 5th and Mamikonyants streets. Readers can use free wi-fi service, online library, electronic book databases. Readers are able to purchase modern Kindle E-readers to read books in electronic format. Isahakyan library is also a place for meetings and a cultural corner for literary discussions and various cultural events focusing on the themes preservation of the nation and its traditions, the importance of the books and writing. The library serves up to 1500 visitors daily.
