British School of Business Armenia (BSB Armenia) (Armenian: Բրիտանական Բիզնես Դպրոց Հայաստան), is an associate university of the global London School of Commerce (LSC) Group of Colleges, located in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Sayat-Nova Avenue (Armenian: Սայաթ-Նովայի պողոտա Sayat-Nova'i Poghota), is an avenue in the central Kentron District of Yerevan, Armenia. It is named after the 18th-century Armenian poet and musician Sayat-Nova. It was officially inaugurated on 27 October 1963. The avenue starts with the Marshal Baghramyan Avenue at the northwest and ends up with the Charents street to the southeast.

Yerevan State University (YSU; Armenian: Երևանի պետական համալսարան, ԵՊՀ, Yerevani petakan hamalsaran), also simply University of Yerevan, is the oldest continuously operating public university in Armenia. Founded in 1919, it is the largest university in the country. It is thus informally known as Armenia's "mother university" (Մայր բուհ, Mayr buh). Of its 3,150 employees, 1,190 comprise the teaching staff, which includes 25 academicians, 130 professors, 700 docents (associate professors), and 360 assistant lecturers. The university has 400 researchers, 1,350 post-graduate students, and 8,500 undergraduates, including 300 students from abroad.Instruction is in Armenian, but instruction in Russian or English for foreign students is available as needed. The academic year is from September 1 through June 30. According to University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP), it was the top-ranked university in Armenia and the 954th in the world in 2010, of 20,000 institutions included in the list. Yerevan State University was listed among the 1,000 best universities of the world according to the QS World University Ranking 2022.YSU is a full member of the International Association of Universities, European University Association (EUA), the Association of Eurasian Universities, the Russian Union of Rectors, the Association of Universities of the Countries of the Black Sea Region, and the International Association of Presidents of Universities.

Tigran Petrosian Chess House (Armenian: Տիգրան Պետրոսյանի անվան Շախմատի Տուն), officially the Central House of Chess-player named after Tigran Petrosian (Armenian: Տիգրան Պետրոսյանի անվան Շախմատիստի Կենտրոնական Տուն), is the centre of the sport of chess in Yerevan, Armenia. It was opened in 1970. In 1984, it was renamed after the former world chess champion Tigran Petrosian. The architect of the triangular-shaped building was Zhanna Meshcheryakova. Petrosian laid the first stone in the foundation of the building. Currently, the director of the centre is Hrachik Tavadyan. The chess house is located on Khanjyan street, within the Circular Park of the Kentron district. It is home to the Yerevan chess school operating since 1971. According to many visitors, the chess house is one of the best chess centers in the world. Many great international events have been regularly held in the building, including the Tigran Petrosian Memorial. It is also the venue of the yearly domestic championship. The Tigran Petrosian Chess House publishes the "Shakhmatayin Hayastan" weekly (Armenian: Շախմատային Հայաստան, meaning Chess in Armenia) since 1972. In 1989, the statue of the champion Tigran Petrosian, created by the Armenian sculptor Ara Shiraz, was erected in front of the chess house. In 2002, the Chess Academy of Armenia was opened. The chess house is also serving as the home of the Chess Federation of Armenia. The president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, is the current head of the Chess Federation of Armenia. The building of the chess house is listed among the historic and cultural monuments of the city of Yerevan.

Henrik Igityan National Centre for Aesthetics (NCA) (Armenian: Գեղագիտության ազգային կենտրոն) is a gallery and museum in Yerevan, Armenia. It was based on, and as of 2024 includes, the Children's Art Museum, which was founded in 1970 by Henrik Igityan and Zhanna Aghamiryan.

The Hovhannes Tumanyan Puppet Theatre of Yerevan, officially the Yerevan State Puppet Theatre named after Hovhannes Tumanyan (Armenian: Երևանի Հովհաննես Թումանյանի անվան Պետական Տիկնիկային Թատրոն [Yerevani Hovhannes T'umanyani anvan Petakan Tiknikayin T'atron]), is a puppet theatre founded in 1935 and located in Yerevan, Armenia. It is also the location of the Pavlos Boroyan Puppet Museum.
