College View Historic District

The College of Business is the business school at East Carolina University. Founded in 1936, and claiming distinction as the second oldest business school in North Carolina, the College houses both undergraduate and graduate students. The College's undergraduate programs were accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in 1967, and the College's graduate programs were accredited by the AACSB in 1976. Out of North Carolina's 23 business schools, ten, including ECU, are accredited by the AACSB. It is a part of the GMAC governing body. The College grants two undergraduate degrees, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. The College grants two graduate degrees, the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Science in Accounting, as well as opportunities for a dual degree with the Brody School of Medicine. The College places a heavy emphasis on its tight-knit and residential character, and has a student population that hovers over 3,000 students and a full-time faculty of 117. In 2004, East Carolina became one of the first universities in the United States to offer the MBA completely online. In 2012, East Carolina's online MBA ranked third nationally and first in North Carolina for quality and affordability.

East Carolina University (ECU) is a public research university in Greenville, North Carolina. It is the fourth largest university in North Carolina. Founded on March 8, 1907, as a teacher training school, East Carolina has grown from its original 43 acres (17 ha) to almost 1,600 acres (647 ha) today. The university's academic facilities are located on six properties: Main Campus, Health Sciences Campus, West Research Campus, the Field Station for Coastal Studies in New Holland, North Carolina, the Millennial Research Innovation Campus in Greenville's warehouse district and an overseas campus in Certaldo Alto, Italy. ECU also operates the Coastal Studies Institute.The university has nine undergraduate colleges, graduate school, and four professional schools. All of the non-health sciences majors are located on the main campus. The College of Nursing, College of Allied Health Sciences, The Brody School of Medicine, and School of Dental Medicine are located on the health science campus. ECU is classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity".There are eleven social sororities, 16 social fraternities, four historically black sororities, five historically black fraternities, one Native American fraternity, and one Native American sorority. There are over 400 registered clubs on campus including fraternities and sororities.

Robert Lee Humber House is a historic home located at Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. It was built in 1895, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, "T"-plan, frame dwelling with Queen Anne and Colonial Revival style design elements. It has a one-story rear kitchen ell and a wraparound porch with Ionic order columns.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

The United States Post Office, also known as the Federal Building, is a historic post office building located at Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. It was designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect under the direction of Oscar Wenderoth and built in 1913–1914. It is a two-story, five-bay, Florintine Renaissance style stuccoed brick building on a limestone base. It has a low hip roof of terra cotta tile with overhanging eaves. The front facade features a three-bay loggia formed by arches with voluted keystones, springing from Tuscan order columns. This building served as the main post office for Greenville until 1969. It currently serves as a U.S. Courthouse.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It is located in the Greenville Commercial Historic District.

Greenville Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 51 contributing buildings in the central business district of Greenville. It includes buildings dated from about 1914 to 1952 and notable examples of Greek Revival and Queen Anne style architecture. Located in the district and listed separately are the Pitt County Courthouse (1911) by Milburn, Heister & Company and U.S. Post Office (1913). Other notable buildings include the Proctor Hotel (1911), Montgomery Ward Department Store (1929), Dail-Hodges Building (1919), Blount Building (1924), Greenville Bank and Trust (c. 1915), Smith Electric Building (c. 1933), Greenville Municipal Building (1929) designed by Benton & Benton, Blount-Harvey Department Store (1923), White's Theater (1914), Charles Greene House (1860), and the Robert Lee Humber House (1895).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, with a boundary increase in 2009.

Pitt County Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. It was designed and built in 1910 by the architectural firm of Milburn, Heister & Company, and is a three-story, rectangular, Classical Revival style tan brick building. The front facade features a tetrastyle Ionic order portico, a hipped roof, and dominating three-stage cupola.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is located in the Greenville Commercial Historic District.

Jones–Lee House is a historic home located at Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina, US. It was built in 1895, and is a two-story, "L"-plan, frame dwelling with Queen Anne style decorative elements. It has an intersecting gable roof and one-story, gable roofed porch. It features decorative shingles, curvilinear sawnwork, and applied half-timbering.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The James L. Fleming House, also known as the Fleming-Winstead House, is a historic home located at 302 S. Greene St. in Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. It was built in 1901–1902, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, frame Queen Anne style dwelling, with design credited to Barber & Klutz who published architectural pattern books. It has a central hall, double pile plan and a one-story rear ell and two-story rear addition. It features a three-stage polygonal tower, slate covered hipped roof, and two-story polygonal bays.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.James Leonidas Fleming (1867-1909), who established East Carolina University in Greenville, built the home for his wife, Lula White, and his family. Fleming was elected to the state senate and began efforts to establish the East Carolina Teacher's Training School, and getting it situated in Greenville. He was later killed in an automobile accident along the Greenville and Raleigh Plank Road in 1909.

The G.K. Butterfield Transportation Center is a bus station located in Greenville, North Carolina, United States. Named after U.S. Representative George Kenneth Butterfield Jr., it serves as a bus terminus for the Greenville Area Transit (GREAT) and provides intercity bus service via Amtrak Thruway and Greyhound Lines.

Jesse R. Moye House is a historic home located at Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. It was designed by architect Herbert Woodley Simpson and built in 1902. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, Queen Anne style frame dwelling with Colonial Revival style details. It has a large wraparound front porch, multiple projections, and multiple gable roofline.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Greenville Tobacco Warehouse Historic District is a national historic district located at Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. The district encompasses seven contributing buildings and one contributing structures in an industrial section of Greenville. It includes buildings dated from about 1905 to 1947 and notable examples of Art Deco and Italianate style industrial architecture. Contributing resources are the American Tobacco Company Storage Warehouse #2. (c. 1905); the Prichard-Hughes Warehouse (c. 1905, with c. 1923 addition); the Dail-Ficklen Warehouse (c. 1911, with c. 1923, 1947, and 1963 additions); the Export Leaf Factory (1914, with 1928, 1932, and 1938 additions); the E. B. Ficklen Factory (c. 1916, with additions c. 1923, c. 1925, c. 1945, and c. 1950); the Gorman Warehouse (1927); the Star Warehouse (1930); and the System of CSX Railroad Tracks.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, with a boundary increase in 1999.

Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum is a multi-purpose arena in Greenville, North Carolina, US. The arena opened in 1968. It is home to the East Carolina University Pirates men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team. The facility underwent a complete renovation prior to the 1994–95 season and seats 8,000 people. The building was named for the Minges and Williams families in honor of their longstanding support of the University.
