Kirkdale is a Liverpool City Council Ward in the Liverpool Riverside Parliamentary constituency. Its original incarnation as a ward was from 1895 to 1952. It was reincarnated for the 2004 Municipal elections from most of the former Vauxhall and Melrose wards and a small part of Everton ward.

Clubmoor is a Liverpool City Council Ward in the Liverpool Walton Parliamentary constituency. The population of this ward at the 2011 census was 15,272. The ward boundary was changed at the 2004 municipal elections.

Norris Green Park in Norris Green, Liverpool, England is a city park situated between Broad Lane and Lorenzo Drive.The park contains the ruin of Norris Green, the original name of the grand mansion built by the Norris family in the fields and pastureland near West Derby. The park was created from the gardens and grounds of the mansion. Norris Green gave its name to the vast, council estate built to ease the housing crisis of the 1920s on land given to the city by Lord Derby of Knowsley Hall. He donated the land on the provision that no public houses were to be built within the estate.The park was transferred to council ownership in 1933 to be used as a public space.Over time, the gardens became overgrown but more recently a group of volunteers, Friends of Norris Green Park (FoNGP), has been working to create new opportunities to improve the park for the benefit of local people and residents of the city.

Clubmoor railway station was located on the North Liverpool Extension Line at Broad Lane, Norris Green, Liverpool, England.The passengers only station opened on 14 April 1927 as part of the Cheshire line link from Halewood to Southport. It closed on 7 November 1960. The tracks through the station continued to be used by freight trains until 1975. They were lifted in early 1979. Today the wall at the main entrance on the west side of the line and remnants of station platforms and fence posts survive. The base of the waiting shelters can also be seen. The trackbed now forms part of the Trans Pennine Trail which runs from Kingston upon Hull to Southport.

Clubmoor is a neighbourhood of Liverpool, Merseyside, England, in the Liverpool City Council ward of Clubmoor. It is part of the Liverpool Walton Parliamentary constituency. At the 2001 Census the population of Clubmoor ward was recorded as 13,387. The ward is heavily residential but with a few areas of employment such as the district centre known locally as "Broadway" situated on Broadway/Broad Lane. As a Liverpool City Council ward, it is represented by three Labour Party councillors - Roz Gladden, Tim Jeeves and Sarah Morton. The local Member of Parliament is Labour MP Dan Carden.

Conqueror and the Executive Headteacher of the School is Mrs. K. Hutchings. The school is based in a 1920s building and has been recently been improved to make it easier for disabled people to access the school some changes include ramps, a lift and a step lift for internal floors. Previously a community school administered by Liverpool City Council, in March 2018 Roscoe Primary School converted to academy status. The school is now sponsored by the SAIL Academy Trust.

The Casbah Coffee Club, officially Casbah Club, was a rock and roll music venue in the West Derby area of Liverpool, England, that operated from 1959 to 1962. Started by Mona Best, mother of early Beatles drummer, Pete Best, in the cellar of the family home, the Casbah was planned as a members-only club for her sons Pete and Rory and their friends, to meet and listen to the popular music of the day. Mona came up with the idea of the club after watching a TV report about The 2i's Coffee Bar in London's Soho where several singers had been discovered. The Quarrymen—John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ken Brown—went to the club to arrange their first booking, to which Mona agreed, but said she needed to finish painting the club first. All four took up brushes and helped Mona to finish painting the walls with spiders, dragons, rainbows and stars. In addition to the four boys' artistic contributions, Cynthia Powell, later to become Cynthia Lennon, painted a silhouette of John on the wall, which can still be seen today. The group often played at the Casbah as other venues, like The Cavern Club, had a jazz-only policy at that time. The cellar—with its original decoration—still exists. In 2006, Culture Minister David Lammy announced that the Bests' ex-coal cellar was to be given Grade II listed building status and a blue plaque, after being recommended by English Heritage. It was opened as a tourist attraction in Liverpool, along with McCartney and Lennon's previous homes at 20 Forthlin Road and 251 Menlove Avenue respectively.

The City of Liverpool College is one of three colleges of further education in Liverpool, Merseyside. It was established in 1992 by the amalgamation of all four further education colleges within Liverpool. The College is located over several sites across the city centre. Community-based provision has been disestablished in response to reduction in funding provision by central government. ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses are likely to be the sole community-based provision. The college left LEA control and was incorporated in 1993 and is overseen by the Corporation Board. The college's first Principal was Wally Brown CBE. The board is made up of representatives from local businesses and communities. The college receives its funding from the government via the Skills Funding Agency (SFA).
