Michigan Assembly Plant

The Wayne Stamping and Assembly Plant is a Ford manufacturing plant in Wayne, Michigan, United States. Many of its more than 3,000 employees are represented by UAW Local 900.

Romulus Engine is an automobile engine plant in Romulus, Michigan. Opened in 1976, the factory produces engines for General Motors vehicles. The factory receives cast engine blocks from Defiance Foundry in Defiance, Ohio and Saginaw Metal Casting Operations in Saginaw, Michigan. On February 19, 2019, GM announced an investment of $20 million at the plant. The facility employs 1,382 hourly workers as of 2020.

The Norwayne Historic District, or Norwayne Subdivision, is an historic residential subdivision, originally built for World War II defense workers. It is located in Westland, Michigan and roughly bounded by Palmer Road on the north, Wildwood Road on the west, Merriman Road on the east, and Glenwood Road and the Wayne County Lower Rouge Parkway on the south. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The Lilley Road—Lower Rouge River Bridge is an automotive bridge located on Lilley Road over the Lower River Rouge in Canton, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

WMKM (1440 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Inkster, Michigan, and serving the Detroit metropolitan area. Owned by Timothy Gallagher, through licensee Great Lakes Radio—Detroit, LLC, the station airs an Urban Gospel radio format branded as Gospel 1440 AM. The radio studios and offices are on East Grand Boulevard in Detroit. WMKM broadcasts with 1,000 watts of power using two different directional signal patterns for day and night. Its six-tower array is located near Ecorse and Merriman Roads in Romulus, Michigan.
