Herricks High School

The Herricks Union Free School District (also known as Union Free School District No. 9) is an American public school district located in western Nassau County on Long Island, in New York. The district lies within the Greater New Hyde Park area and serves a number of communities, including Herricks, Garden City Park, Manhasset Hills, Searingtown, North Hills, Williston Park and Albertson.

Henry Viscardi School is a state supported special school operated by the Viscardi Center in New York for severely disabled students requiring a specialized educational setting with medical supports. The location is in Albertson, New York. The school enrolls students in grades pre-K through 12. The school was originally called The Human Resources School. Founded by Henry Viscardi Jr. and supported by public and private initiatives, the tuition-free school was the only one of its kind in the world. It was renamed in honor of its founder.The school's president John D. Kemp, himself born without full arms or legs, has won the Henry B. Betts award known as the USA's highest honor for disability leadership and service and the 2014 Dole Leadership Prize for public inspiration.

Buckley Country Day School is an independent, coeducational day school providing elementary and middle education to 330 students in grades toddler through eight in Roslyn, New York State, United States. Buckley was founded in 1923 and opened the doors of its first building in Great Neck to a class of twenty-three children. It was begun as a day school but for a period accepted boarding students in the middle grades. In 1955, as the school's enrollment continued to increase, Buckley moved to its current location in the Village of North Hills in Roslyn. It is operated on a not-for-profit basis by an appointed twenty-two-member Board of Trustees. It is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York. The school is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.

Christopher Morley Park is a public, Nassau County-owned park in Roslyn Heights, New York. The park first opened in 1961. It is named for and dedicated after the late writer Christopher Morley, who lived a few blocks away in Roslyn Estates. It occupies 98 acres (40 ha) of land, and was once part of the Nettie Ryan Estate. Inisfada was the North Hills, Long Island estate of Nicholas Frederic Brady and Genevieve Brady (née Garvan), a papal duke and duchess. Nicholas Brady was a convert from Episcopalianism to Catholicism and built the mansion as his family residence. Completed in 1920, the home was later given to the Jesuits. They used the building as a seminary and later as the St. Ignatius Retreat House. The property was sold in May 2013 to developers, and the house was demolished in December 2013.
