It was incorporated in 1935 and by the 1980s, the majority of the town was businesses and its population did not exceed 50. At the request of its citizens, the town was disincorporated on May 1, 1998.The former Peerless Park has since been annexed by the City of Valley Park.

Forest 44 Conservation Area consists of 998 acres (4.04 km2) in western St. Louis County, Missouri. It is located near the town of Valley Park, Missouri and is bordered to the north by Interstate 44. It is part of the Henry Shaw Ozark Corridor.Forest 44 was once part of a cattle ranch that covered 10,000 acres (40 km2). The land was purchased in 1990 by the Missouri Department of Conservation from the heirs of the Reinken Estates. An additional 40 acres (0.16 km2) were acquired by partial donation and is known as the Dorothy E. Aselman Memorial Addition.Forest 44 has a 0.4 miles (0.64 km) paved disabled-accessible trail, a 2.2 miles (3.5 km) hiking only trail, and 11.8 miles (19.0 km) of multi-use trails open to hiking and horseback riding. The area is open to hunting and fishing with permits during the appropriate seasons. There is also a staffed shooting range. There are 914 acres (3.70 km2) of forest and 44 acres (0.18 km2) of grassland.

Fenton is a city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States, and a suburb of St. Louis. The population was 4,022 at the 2010 census.

Saint Louis Assembly was a Chrysler automobile factory in Fenton, Missouri. The "South" plant opened in 1959, while the "North" portion opened in 1966. The Saint Louis Factory was built to accommodate Chrysler's new Chrysler B platform allowing the company to build subcompact vehicles. Saint Louis North was the home of minivan production from 1987 through 1995, when it was converted to build the Dodge Ram pickup truck. Minivan production was switched to the South plant (shut down from 1991–95) in 1995 and continued there through the 2007 model year. On 13 December 2005, DaimlerChrysler announced that it would spend US$1 billion upgrading the two Saint Louis plants to be more flexible and efficient. This process was expected to occur between 2006 and 2010. On 30 June 2008, Chrysler, LLC announced plans to shutter the South plant, consolidating all minivan manufacture in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.Production at the North plant was shut down, along with other Chrysler factories, when the company filed for bankruptcy on 30 April 2009. Although production briefly resumed the last week of June 2009, the plant was later closed for good in early July 2009. Both plants were razed in 2011. In 2013 the 300-acre site was floated as a possibility for the site for a new stadium for the St. Louis Rams if plans to renovate Edward Jones Dome did not materialize. The Rams ultimately chose to return to Southern California. The team formally filed its request to leave St. Louis for Los Angeles on 4 January 2016. On 12 January 2016, the NFL approved the Rams' request for relocation to Los Angeles for the 2016 NFL season.In October 2016, groundbreaking began for the $222 million Fenton Logistics Park by KP Development. It will include two million square feet of office, warehouse, and industrial space.

Twin Oaks is a 4th class city in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The former Village of Twin Oaks changed its status to that of a city by public election in November 2016. The population was 392 at the 2010 census.

Lone Elk Park is a county park in the U.S. state of Missouri consisting of 546 acres (2.21 km2) located in St. Louis County west of the town of Valley Park. The park is located adjacent to Interstate 44, the World Bird Sanctuary, Castlewood State Park, and Tyson Research Center. Lone Elk Park was originally part of the Tyson Valley Powder Plant during World War II. After the war the area became a county park and herds of elk and bison were established in 1948. The land was reacquired by the federal government during the Korean War, and the wildlife herds were destroyed for safety reasons in 1958, but one lone bull elk survived. In 1964 St. Louis County acquired 405 acres (1.64 km2) for Tyson County Park, which became Lone Elk Park in 1966. The park officially opened on October 17, 1971, and six bison were acquired from the St. Louis Zoo in July 1973.There are driving routes that provide views of the elk and bison, often at close proximity. The park is also home to many deer, wild turkey and waterfowl. Domestic animals are not permitted whatsoever, even if confined to a vehicle. Research was conducted in 2016 to determine if a sinkhole was under the lake. The boat dock has been removed. Fishing was closed in 2017 in an effort to rebuild the fish population.

Keifer Creek is a stream in St. Louis County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of the Meramec River. A variant spelling was "Keefer Creek". The creek has the name of the local Keefer family.
