Fountain–Bessac House

The Goodyear Block, also known as the Arbeiter Block is a commercial building located at 138 E. Main Street in Manchester, Michigan, US. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Manchester is a city in Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,037 at the 2020 census. The city is located within Manchester Township. Settled as early as 1833, Manchester incorporated as a village in 1867. On November 7, 2023, 66 percent of village residents voted in favor of incorporating Manchester as an autonomous city. Manchester officially became a city on November 15, 2023 with the mayor and city councilmembers sworn into office on November 20, 2023.

Honey Acres Airport (FAA LID: 7N4) is a privately-owned, public use airport located one mile (1.6 km) west of Clinton, Michigan on W. Michigan Ave. and spans the border between Lenawee and Washtenaw counties. The airport is owned by Sharon A. Kussmaul Trust and operated by Richard R. and Jayce R. Kussmaul, who also own the Kussmaul Honey Farm, hence the name of the airport. It is at an elevation of 820 feet (250 m). The airport opened in July 1990. The airport encompasses an area of 60 acres (240,000 m2).

The Clinton Downtown Historic District is a historic district located in the village of Clinton in Clinton Township in the northernmost portion of Lenawee County, Michigan. It consists of most of the 100 block of U.S. Route 12, known locally as West Michigan Avenue, plus Memorial Park at 200 West Michigan. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 27, 2010.

The Bauer Manor, also known as the Davenport House or Davenport Hotel, is a hotel located at 1280 U.S. Route 12 (known locally as Michigan Avenue) near the unincorporated community of Tipton in Franklin Township in northern Lenawee County, Michigan. It was designated as a Michigan State Historic State on May 18, 1971 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 4, 2007.

Franklin Township is a civil township of Lenawee County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,939 at the 2000 census.

Clinton Township is a civil township of Lenawee County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,624 at the 2000 census. The village of Clinton is located within the township. Both the village and township are named in honor of DeWitt Clinton, the governor of New York from 1817 to 1823.

Walter J. Hayes State Park is a public recreation area covering 654 acres (265 ha) on the southeast corner of Wamplers Lake in the Irish Hills region of the state of Michigan. Most of the state park lies within Lenawee County with a small portion extending into Jackson and Washtenaw counties in the Round Lake area. The park offers access to 796-acre (322 ha) Wamplers Lake and completely surrounds 100-acre (40 ha) Round Lake, which connects to Wamplers Lake via a channel navigable by smaller boats. Other scenic lakes including Evans Lake and Sand Lake as well as chains of smaller lakes lie nearby. The park is traversed by Michigan Route 124 north of its intersection with US Highway 12.

Hidden Lake Gardens colloquially known as Hidden Lake 755 acres (3.06 km2), is a botanical garden and an arboretum operated by Michigan State University situated in the Irish Hills of southeast Michigan. The Gardens are known for their large collection of native and nonnative trees, shrubs and flowers. HLG was given to Michigan State University by Harry Fee in 1945. Today it is visited by nearly 45,000 people annually. One facet of the Hidden Lake Gardens mission is "To preserve an undeveloped area of the scenic Irish Hills, providing a place of beauty and inspiration for public enjoyment."

Irish Hills is an area of land located roughly in southeastern Jackson County and northwest Lenawee County in Southeast Michigan. It was named after the numerous Irish immigrants who settled there from 1830 until 1850. Today it is known throughout the state for its scenery, especially in the summer. Its hills and larger kettle lakes surround the 654-acre (2.65 km2) Hayes State Park. It is also known for its chain of smaller kettle lakes bordered by US Highway 12 (US 12, Michigan Avenue). These link to Cambridge Junction Historic State Park, which is adjoined by the Michigan International Speedway. Starting in the 1920's the Irish Hills has had several family-oriented roadside attractions, including an old west theme park known as Frontier City, a mock dinosaur exhibit named Prehistoric Forest, and a fairy tale themed park named Fantasy Land, all of which have closed. Frontier City saw some competition in 1965 with the opening of the Stagecoach Stop, a similar park with a better location. As of 2024, Mystery Hill, a gravity hill, is still in operation. Attempts are being made to save the observation towers known as the Irish Hills Towers. In the 1970's, Cedar Point acquired land in an attempt to build an amusement park, which would have complemented its location in Sandusky, Ohio. However, local residents spoke out against the project and it was eventually cancelled. The Michigan International Speedway hosts NASCAR races, attracting over 300,000 fans a year during the racing season of June and August. The Michigan International Speedway also hosts the Faster Horses Music Festival and Nite Lights a drive-through winter holiday light display around Christmas. Some towns in Irish Hills include Brooklyn, Napoleon, Norvell and Onsted.
