The Auld Kirk Scotch Settlement is a historic settlement located in the former township of West Gwillimbury (now Bradford West Gwillimbury). It is located on the 6th Line, west of the 10th Sideroad, street number 3380. The church is one of several old Presbyterian churches that merged to form St. John's Presbyterian Church in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

The school has an enrollment of about 1,100. During the last half of the 2006–2007 school year BDHS underwent extensive renovations that included a new greenhouse and full expansion and renovation of existing facilities. The school offers a construction-oriented apprenticeship program offering students to learn about hands-on labour and the real experiences of working in that field.BDHS serves the town of Bradford West Gwillimbury and portions of Innisfil. Holy Trinity Catholic High School is a Catholic secondary school in Bradford, Ontario, Canada. It is one of the two high schools located in Bradford, the other being Bradford District High School. It was established in 1985, at which time the school was spread over several buildings in Bradford. In January 1986, a new site was found in a building on the third floor of Bradford's Bank of Nova Scotia building, which meant Holy Trinity then had four classrooms in one building.In September 1986, the school moved to portable classroom buildings at its current site. Construction of the current school building did not begin until 1991, and the building's official opening was 24 May 1992.

The Toronto International Trap and Skeet Club is a shooting facility located in Innisfil, Ontario. Despite the name, the facility is located 75 kilometres north of the city. The facility opened in 1970 and in 2014 it was officially named the host venue of the shooting events at the 2015 Pan American Games scheduled in July 2015 in Toronto, where it was known as the Pan Am Shooting Centre. For the games a new permanent combined 25-metre and 50-metre range, a new separate 10-metre air rifle range and improvements two of the already existing trap and skeet ranges were built and renovated. During the Games the facility was known as the Pan Am Shooting Centre. A total of $6.2 million CAD was spent to upgrade the facilities for the games.

Though King is predominantly rural, most of its residents inhabit the communities of King City, Nobleton, and Schomberg.
