Lancaster Bible College, officially named Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary and Graduate School and shortened to LBC | Capital, is a private Bible college, seminary, and graduate school in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Lancaster Bible College offers non-credit courses, undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degree programs. The college offers several Master of Arts and Master of Education degree programs, along with three Doctorate programs.In addition to the Lancaster location which houses all of the traditional undergraduate programs, LBC has two additional sites that offer accelerated undergraduate degrees for adult students and graduate programs. These affiliated sites are in Greenbelt, Maryland and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Manheim Township High School is a comprehensive four-year public high school located in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is the only high school in the Manheim Township School District. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,863 students and 113.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 16.41:1. There were 443 students (23.8% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and a further 36 eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

WLCH (91.3 FM, "Radio Centro") is a non-commercial public FM radio station licensed to serve Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The station is owned by the Spanish American Civic Association For Equality, Inc., and broadcasts a variety format. Its broadcast tower is located in Manheim Township north of Lancaster at (40°04′13.6″N 76°17′18.5″W).WLCH is one of 33 owned and operated Hispanic Public Radio stations in the United States.

Manheim Township School District is a suburban, public school district of over 5,000 students in nine schools located in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The district is well known in the Lancaster County region for its academic achievement, popular quiz bowl team, “Prison Yard” courtyard, and Manheim Township Performing Arts. The district draws students from a single eponymous township of approximately 23 square miles (60 km2), with over 13,400 residential dwellings, and about 31,300 residents as of 2006. The district's public school population of almost 6,000 students in kindergarten through twelfth grades is distributed over twenty-four school buildings: there are six elementary schools (grades K-4), a single 5th and 6th-grade building, one middle school (grades 7 & 8), and one high school (grades 9-12). The district students are 67% white, 9% Asian, 5% black, 13% Hispanic, and 7% Multi-racial. Manheim Township High School finished construction in 2008. The district's Manheim Township Landis Run Intermediate finished construction in 2012. The Mannheim Township Middle School finished construction in 2021 and has a large courtyard affectionately named by the students as “The Prison Yard.”The district's colors are blue and white. A traditional rival of the district is Warwick.

Neffsville is an unincorporated community in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. As an unincorporated area, Neffsville has no formalized boundaries. The U.S. Geological Survey locates Neffsville at 40°6'0"N 76°18'20"W. The retail and restaurant center of Neffsville is near 2500 Lititz Pike (Pennsylvania Route 501). Lancaster, the county seat, is 4.5 miles (7.2 km) to the south, and Lititz is 4 miles (6 km) to the north. Pennsylvania Route 722 leads west 3 miles (5 km) to East Petersburg and east 3 miles (5 km) to Pennsylvania Route 272 at Oregon. Manheim Township School District serves 5,400 students with 637 employees, 423 of them holding teaching certificates. Manheim Township High School on School Road is considered to be in Neffsville.

On May 12, 2007, Alec Kreider, a 16-year-old high school student at the time, murdered his classmate and friend Kevin Haines, his father Thomas Haines, and mother Lisa Haines in their home in Manheim Township, Pennsylvania. Kreider was arrested a month later on June 16, 2007 and was charged with three counts of first degree murder. He pleaded guilty to all charges, and was subsequently convicted on all three counts and sentenced to three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole. Kreider later became eligible for a re-sentencing hearing following the United States Supreme Court's 2012 decision in Miller v. Alabama, which held that mandatory sentences of life without the possibility of parole are unconstitutional for juvenile offenders. On January 20, 2017, Kreider died by suicide by hanging himself in his prison cell, before the resentencing hearing was scheduled.

Lancaster Airport (IATA: LNS, FAA LID: KLNS, TC LID: LNS) is a public use airport four nautical miles (5 mi, 7 km) north of the central business district of Lancaster, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is owned by the Lancaster Airport Authority. It is served by one commuter airline subsidized by the Essential Air Service program and one charter airline. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2021–2025 categorized it as a general aviation airport based on enplanements in 2008 (less than 2,500 per year), however it qualifies as a non-primary commercial service airport based on yearly enplanements in later years.

The 2015 U.S. Women's Open was the 70th U.S. Women's Open, held July 9–12 at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The U.S. Women's Open is the oldest of the five current major championships and the third of the 2015 season. It had the largest purse in women's golf, at $4.5 million in 2015. Additionally, the tournament set an attendance record for the U.S. Women's Open at 135,000 spectators for the week.The tournament was televised by Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports.

The 2024 U.S. Women's Open was the 79th U.S. Women's Open, played May 30 to June 2 at the Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The purse for the tournament was a record $12 million. The winner's share is now 20% for the men's and women's Open Championships, earning the Women's Open winner $2.4 million. Yuka Saso won by three strokes over compatriot Hinako Shibuno. It was Saso's second U.S. Women's Open win, having also won in 2021. It was her second major win and second LPGA Tour win.

The Lancaster Country Club is a private American country club that is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This club was the host venue for the 2015 U.S. Women's Open.

The Hunsecker's Mill Covered Bridge is a covered bridge located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. The bridge has a single span, wooden, double Burr arch trusses design. The bridge, which spans the Conestoga River, is 180 feet (55 m) long, making it the longest single span covered bridge in the county.The bridge's WGCB Number is 38-36-06. Unlike most historic covered bridges in the county, it is not listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located at 40°5′13.8″N 76°14′51″W (40.08717, -76.24750). The bridge is approximately one mile southeast of Pennsylvania Route 272 and is 0.5 miles (0.80 km) north of Pennsylvania Route 23 off Mondale Road on Hunsecker Road, just west of the community of Hunsecker. The bridge divides the road on which it is upon into Hunsecker Road (East) in Upper Leacock Township and Hunsicker Road (West) in Manheim Township.

Lititz Run is a 7.2-mile-long (11.6 km) tributary of the Conestoga River in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in the United States. The creek flows from the springs of Lititz Springs Park in Lititz, Pennsylvania southwest past Rothsville through the Millport Conservancy towards Oregon. Blue Herons are known to nest in the area. Lititz Run joins the Conestoga just downstream from its confluence with the Cocalico Creek, at the Pinetown Covered Bridge. Lititz Run is known as a model watershed project after wetland and riparian corridor restoration work was performed starting in 1997 by the Lititz Run Watershed Alliance.The run powered industry in the area in the 1700s and 1800s, including mills at Millport, Oregon, and Pinetown and industry in Lititz.
